Throw me in on the questionable moves by management and coaching staff bandwagon, too. Regehr signing looks Pejorative Slur status right now and Sutter has made baffling decisions for way too long to get a pass anymore.

Kings aren't going to do anything like that. You don't break up your best line to play some children on the road. What you have to lose is your pride, getting embarrassed is not befitting of this team.
As long as the Kings have Quick, they still have a chance.

I love the smell of ice in the morning.
No clue on why he made changes when things worked last game. Kopi should not have moved up to 1st. Love Kopitar, but he isn't skating like normal.

This is what I'm thinking. Even if by some miracle they come back and win the series, they'd be absolutely dead going up against a well rested Boston team that bangs the crap out of you.
Quick, Voynov, Williams, Richards, and Carter are the only guys that legit showed up every game. Almost 50% of our scoring has come from those four guys. You can't win a Stanley Cup like that, especially when you are facing a much more balanced team.

--love seeing carter try to carry this team on his back, he's definitely got the moxy that brown and kopitar had last year.
--too bad kopitar and brown used up all of their swag last year. (they're hurt.. i know)
--Loved seeing a goal from our 4th line
--too bad we didn't see any from our 1st line.
--How bout we just rest easy tonight and blame the loss on Davis Gaines.
--Actually could have won this game even though kopitar and brown have gone brain-dead. Weird to lose this game on a softie from quick, and a fundamental mistake on that line change.
--Was tough trying to get shots through to the net--- was actually expecting Doughty to take over when we were down by one.. too bad that didn't happen.
--PS.. how many playoff breakaway goals do the kings have this year?
i believe we are 0 for 8 on clean breaks.
--sloppy game, and credit the hawks to gutting out this game. Wasn't pretty.
--i still marvel at the fact that we've actually gotten this far in the playoffs... honestly.
--don't wanna count our chickens, but it looks Lombardi has finally successfully groomed a top 6 forward. TOFFOLI FTW!

Who's fault is it that King played every ****in' game on the 2nd and 3rd line??? Just what did King bring to any game of the series???
Yeah, I know, I know. If he's this bad next year, then it's on him. Last year's playoff run and his previous body of work lets me give him the benefit of the doubt.

Not having your best forward this series playing with injured Kopitar and the black hole line killer would be a start.
And even when the lineup was healthy Sutter was still inserting the black hole line killer into scoring lines the entire season. While benching guys like Penner and Toffoli. So the injuries excuse doesn't fly there.
Toffoli a scratch for most of the season? Kid has been one of the best forwards every chance he has been given and he sits while Fraser, Nolan and the black hole play regularly.
Not having awful line changes every game, the Kings have had 3 of them in their past 6 games. Not bad changes, awful awful changes.
How about the PP? The CBC guys said it best, "Everyone in the building knows Doughty is going to walk the line and pass to Voynov for a one-timer" and then we wonder why Frolik has more blocked shots than Dikembe Mutombo every game. Yet they keep force feeding this play, every time, tell me the last time the Kings even tried a back door pass on the PP?
Look, I love Sutter, I think what he accomplished last year was pretty impressive, one of the more impressive coaching jobs in recent memory. But he and Payne have sucked this year.
I rather rush one of our prospects and trade regehr. People would want regehr on another team. Trade him a year early instead of a year late.

First off, where the hell were Kings fans tonight? I have never heard a quieter arena in a one goal game in the 3rd period. Such a disgrace!
Secondly, 3 shots in the 3rd? I honestly did not see Sutter do a damn thing to light his team up. Our team looked great in the 1st and most of the 2nd but the 3rd was just brutal. Too bad we cannot threaten to trade Brown in the playoffs. Most of our guys are injured for sure.
Regardless, they came pretty far with the anemic offense. And hey, the Kings are the 2012 STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONS!

DL is to blame for the Dwight King situation, nobody else. The Kings should have traded for a depth forward, they have zero on left wing and it came back to bite the team in the ass.

Kings have looked too exhausted to play full 60 mins since the end of the St. Louis series. They just try to build a lead and Quick pretty much has to steal the third period. Looking forward to see if we can try again next year with a healthier and more rested lineup.
That Hossa goal on that atrocious line changed killed everything. Hell, as soon as he scored I knew the game was over. I just stuck around and still watched the game because I'm dumb enough to always commit to the end.

It's become silly to blame king, regehr and Muzzin for the kings not advancing to the Stanley cup final.
It's all on brown and Kopitar. Doesn't matter the excuse, the fact is that they haven't got it done this season.
Doughty always sucks against Chicago. He needs to figure that out because the hawks will be in the playoffs for many years to come and the kings will probably need to win a series against them if they want to win another cup.

DL??? Why is he to blame??? He's not the one that makes the lineup and gives King 2nd and 3rd line time?
Clifford would be a much better option than King. And if not, you can have Richie there. There are other options than King.

Clifford and Richie have sucked just as much.....Clifford has been worse Five on Five than King.
