Sutter really confused me tonight. You break up the first line and put Williams (your best player) on the 4th line?????? Kopitar back on the first with Brown and Richardson? Then Brown on the 4th line? WTFFFFFF. Regehr omg don't even get me started, why the **** did we re-sign this guy? I guess you can't win it every year but these late period goals are killing us, Quick gave up an absolute **** goal. They're the better team, we all knew we couldn't match up well vs them and their speed.

I'd love to be optimistic but they just have nothing left. They were brutalized in the first two series and they were hitting more than anyone else in the playoffs. When Richards went down it was just too much to overcome. Sucks to see them play like this. They are a better team, they just aren't healthy enough to compete.

panic mode on

King needs to go
trade RR, there will be buyers
sign Scuds
Penner needs to go as well

Let's be honest. This team doesn't even deserve to still be alive, let alone beating Chicago. When only 6 or so players are showing any passion it's tough to expect more. Guys like Quick, Williams, Voynov, Penner, etc. deserve better but that's it.

Oh well. Hopefully this near impossible hole they've dug will finally wake them up. Go Kings.

Sutter really should be grilled after this game. The coaching by the Kings in this postseason has been hideous. Awful line combos (once again Clifford ends up on a scoring line, re-unites Kopitar with Brown and Williams, another bad change, all the earlier to many men penalties)

The Kings lack of a killer instinct finally caught up to them, trying to win every game 2-1, Kings had numerous chances to go up 3-1, and they just blew it.

The usual crowd will blame the refs, like they always do when the Kings lose. But this one is totally on the Kings, and it's because of the lack of killer instinct and the god awful PP, and the poor coaching doesn't help.

Thankful for what Sutter did last year, but sadly this year the stuff Calgary fans whined about are starting to creep into the Kings game plan. The Kings will greatly miss John Stevens and his defensive coaching, the Kings need to make a great hire to replace him if he does indeed leave.

Honestly, it's better that the Kings lose out this round. Even if they were to make it to the finals, they won't get past Boston or Pittsburgh. That will just shorten their recovery time over the summer. They are just too beat up. Better to bow out now and regroup during the summer.

Just a dead 3rd period from the Kings. Watching a game, you usually feel your heart racing near the end of it when it's within one shot. I got nothing.

Quick can't give up that first goal. Not when the Kings can't score. Bad defense on a line change doesn't help either.

They should be ashamed of themselves. How many PP did we get? And How many opportunities did we get? That has been our weakness for far too long and now its going to cost them the series. I'm so ****ing angry right now.

Proud of the team for the run they had. Six consecutive playoff series wins is nothing to sneeze at in the modern era.

Injuries and just plain running out of gas mostly cost them this series. A fundamental flaw in the team's makeup, a weakness to speed, played a part. And finally, complete no show performances from Brown and Kopitar, injury or no injury, sealed the deal.

We could make up for this stuff in the past two series because the Sharks and Blues just flat out aren't as good as the Hawks, but not this time.

Frustrating, mostly because we haven't seen this team drop a series since 2011, but excusable at the end of the day, all things considered, I guess.

And let's be reality, even if we managed to squeeze by the Hawks, no one is beating Boston this year.

I didn't think the PP could be any worse than when Kompon was here. Boy was I wrong.

Our best forward and best power play guy on the team all playoffs has a concussion. The Kings had to win this series by not giving up a soft one and staying defensively responsible. In two of their losses, they have not.

If Scuderi isn't back next year I hope Regehr plays much better. He looked lost all night.

The money they gave Regehr should've gone to Scuderi, not RR. I can't believe how bad of a 3rd period that was, absolutely brutal. Doughty has been invisible because he's ****ing covering Regehr's ass half the time.

Positives: Voynov and Toffoli, both absolute studs.

Honestly don't think it would hurt benching Kopitar and Brown. As much as I love them, they just aren't producing any offense at all. Was a good run.

Our top players are sucking right now.. you think that's going to change when they go on the PP?

The powerplay is not the problem.. if anything, it shows just how bad the Kings are playing. How many shots in the 3rd.. 3? lolz.

Horrible line changes. Why would John Stevens leave?

Sure glad Regehr is locked up for 2 years :shakehead

Dean needs to go out and find a better replacement for Mitchell this summer.

Sad to think that this might be the last time we see Playoff Penner at Staples.

This team fought their way this deep with two of their reliable forwards playing garbage all playoffs. Ashamed, no...this is still one of the best runs this team has ever had and they're at 60% at best.

I am a big believer in roster turnover but now really isn't the time for that, the season is not over.

This team is on life support right now, barely clinging on. How can you manage 2 shots in the final period when trailing by a goal? That's inexcusable.
