Im glad we're not like hawks fans. They were so insufferable after game one victory, we're being so classy right now as hard as it is to believe.
 
Pearson and Toffoli with Carter is a damn fine line. Dwight King really brings little to the table, but he did help generate a goal with his forcheck. Wish he'd actually score though. I'm still in disbelief after that comeback. The 1st and 2nd periods were so abysmal I thought there was no way they'd win.
 
Sutter is the best coach ever man, seriously......

Reporters asked Drew what Sutter said in the second intermission.

Doughty on Sutter:

"I’m trying to think, second period. I don’t think he said too much, just because when Darryl doesn’t come in and say too much, that means he’s mad at us. That tells us we’re not playing well and we need to do something about it. If he’s just staring at us in the room and making little comments like ‘Oh, Toews is the best player in the world’ or things like that, then we know he’s not happy and we need to do something about it". Sutter with that sarcastic comment about Toews LOL, Classic Sutter.
 
Had a class tonight last I looked we were down 0-2. Watching the highlights on NHL.com, and on the power play goal Doughty took a wrist shot? Who knew?
 
Carter only scores in blows outs or blows out occur cause Carter scores? The age old chicken or the egg.
 
Toffoli has become such a good player. And pearson is just a joy to watch. Real nice vision.

Well, that certainly was a good way to put an end to the 'Hawk mystique in their rink. That's gotta be a nice sized monkey off the backs of our boys.
 
Here's a dumb question......

If Kopitar's line is being used as the counter for the Toews line, with Kopitar basically shadowing Toews, isn't Gaborik being wasted on that line? I'd say put Lewis there instead and maybe put Gaborik with Richards...... Just a thought.......
 
But seriously where is this goal scoring during the regular season
