This is probably a tougher Cup run for us compared to 2012. Because we faced the Sharks, Ducks, Blackhawks in the first 3 rounds. All 3 really tough teams! Can't say the same for the rest of our competition. We're the most battle hardened team this playoffs.

Tanner Pearson, one of the top players right now in the Kings, logged the least amount of icetime, at 9:16 TOI. He is killing it! 2 assists tonight. Great dig and pass to Toffoli for the 4-2 nail in the coffin goal.

14 games, 2 goals 7 assists, plus 7! and 23 shots. And tons of battles and races won.
The 70's line should log much more time. The way they are all playing, they would dominate any line right now.

True but in 2012 our first 3 opponents were seeds 1,2 & 3. Doesn't get much tougher than that.
 
Crawford looked pretty bad tonight. I'm still not sold on this guy.

The media was fawning all over him and Christ Toews after game 1, but the Kings were shooting pucks right into his chest. They made him look better than he really was.

If there's anywhere that we have advantage over the Hawks, it's in net, and that bodes well for us.

The line of King-Richards-Williams had some strong puck possession shifts that I felt really started to turn the momentum in the Kings favor. They tilted the ice with those shifts.

And my God is the Carter & the Kids line insanely fast and dominant when they attack the net with speed. Once they get a clean rush up the ice, you can feel something good is about to happen.

Quick bailed this team out and allowed them to stage a comeback. This could have easily been a 4-0 game in favor of Chicago. Came up with some timely saves, and reminds some people why he's a clutch goalie.

Finally, like Gibson, we can stop talking about the impenetrable Hawks defense and goaltending and home record.
