Has to do with minutes, Lombardi has already commented on Toffoli not being in peak shape(understandably he is a kid).

The first line has to play 20+ minutes.

Toffoli can't handle those minutes.

And Clifford who has averaged 10 minutes a game, can handle the 1st line? I'm tired of the excuses. There is no reason not to try toffoli on the first line.

A big difference from this year and last year is that Brown was the one lowering the boom on hits like the one Boland landed. It was as borderline, on the edge of a legal hit as you can get. Was a lot more fun when we were doing the damage and the other teams fans were doing the *****ing.

He was hitting pretty well tonight. I think he had 3 during the final pk, one just destroying Toews.

Clifford is actually one of the best conditioned Kings...

So yes Sutter has used him there, Also Clifford is a LW.

Toffoli is a RW only.....Removing the only forward with a Pulse off Kopitar's line (Williams) is not a smart move.....

We want to take Williams, who has dragged Kopitar around all year...And insert Toffoli.....That is stupid.

This is an ongoing theme with this org....yet there's no adjustments to be had. Disappointing.

Brown took out two guys in the first period. Hitting doesn't have a thing to do with us not winning. It's guys like Kopitar playing like Josef Stumpel.

Don't get me wrong, that's not why we're not winning. Kopitar & Brown's production is the top concern. I was simply referencing the complaints on the Boland hit, remembering how pissed off Brown had Canuck & Coyotes fans last year. It's just a lot more fun when it's your guy lowering the boom.

Muzzin is not paid 6.8 million dollars to carry the team.

Kopitar should give his entire salary this year to J-Dub, cause that guy carried his ass all season long.

Well judging by all the games we've won...just look what he's done in them. Without him on the power play we're screwed.

Kopitar is becoming a recurring problem. I don't really know what to say about him to be honest.

Besides Quick, the whole team were horrible tonight including Doughty. They look a step slower and less aggressive than the Hawks and the horrible passing just topping it off. This game should have been 4-1 if it wasn't for Quick.

Fair to ask for, but they've been awful in afternoon games and awful on the road all season. I'm disappointed, but not surprised.

Boy are they going to be fresh for game two, that was like a scrimmage for them.
