IF Richards can't play, I think you gotta move Carter to center, and put a passer on his line. I'd go with:

Brown-Kopi-Toffoli
Penner-Carter-Williams
Richardson-Stoll-Lewis
Clifford/King-Fraser-

7 defensemen

Lol at sutter putting toffoli on the first line. I'm sure he'll just throw King up there.

We need more from DP and KC.

Other than that we looked very good. We got a great shot at this series. The changes made all the difference.

I said it in the GDT, but the kings don't have the same drive to win this year. After every road game they talk about having better starts and playing 60 minutes. It's just not going happen this year.

Chicago has enough skill to win the series against quick.

Pretty much this.

Honestly, we shouldn't expect anything from Kopitar anymore. Just let him pk and stuff.

The only positive is Kopitar has picked his shooting up, but he is not making space for himself. He is just taking what they give him.

A big difference from this year and last year is that Brown was the one lowering the boom on hits like the one Boland landed. It was as borderline, on the edge of a legal hit as you can get. Was a lot more fun when we were doing the damage and the other teams fans were doing the *****ing.

You're right, and I think I just threw-up in my mouth

Has to do with minutes, Lombardi has already commented on Toffoli not being in peak shape(understandably he is a kid).

The first line has to play 20+ minutes.

Toffoli can't handle those minutes(at the NHL level).

He's not paid 6.8 million to play on the penalty kill.

Well so far it looks like management pays him tons to play on the PK.

Kings should try putting some young kids in the line up, inject this dead team with some change. Other then the revolving door at 4th line.

Kings need to make changes soon or this is gonna be real quick.

Brown took out two guys in the first period. Hitting doesn't have a thing to do with us not winning. It's guys like Kopitar playing like Josef Stumpel.

King on the first line is just a warm body

^This.....

If Kopitar continues his vanishing act......Kings are never going to win on the road.

J-Dub has pretty much carried Kopitar all year.

Does it matter with Kopitar playing like he is ?

You also remove the only forward with a pulse....J-Dub....

Toffoli is a RW lock stop and barrel....The third line is all he is going to see....plus PP. For about 14 to 15mins....

Vey/Pearson are not coming to the rescue, The couldn't even Rescue the Monarchs.....
