That should be a suspension, that guy flew into the hit i watched it in slow motion.

This team is so gutless, I cant believe no one killed bolland. Why didnt any one take his head into the ice? Richards would of stood up for that hit. Stupid gutless performance.


I bet sutter looks at this game and says, our offense was bad tonight, gotta give kIng more Ice time game 2.
 
Need more from Kopitar, but that's been a constant for Kopitar this playoffs. Must be playing hurt.

Sloppy all around. So many flubbed passes.

Oh well. On to the next one.
 
King was far far far better in his role than Kopitar, Brown, Carter and Richards. King was far more useful than the top 6 no-show gong-show.

Pathetic once again from 6,8, but that is what to expect this year it seems. Doughty was way below standard too.

This loss stings. Giving this Blackhawks team, a friggin Bickel-Handzus top-6 team, confidence is hardly helpful.

Crappy game, needless to say.

Well based on today performance he didn't do much. The stupid blind passes and fumbling on the puck doesn't helping us at all. Being too fancy and hanging on to the puck too long doesn't work on a fast skill team.
 
I was overall not displeased, but the way they handled themselves in the last ten minutes was just awful, embarrassing and just unacceptable. We need toffoli in and we need him now. Would like to see Martinez in for muzzin.
 
If we dont run one of their players into the boards next game I am not going to be happy.

Im tired of our players getting trucked and no one doing anything about it.
 
King sucks.
Muzzin sucks.
Kings weren't going to score, but the Refs didn't need to be *******s about it and purposely end the game early. So you're not going to call a penalty on an iffy flying hit, but you will call an iffy tripping call seconds later?
 
Worst 60 minutes they've played in the play offs so far IMO. Better bring a strong response tomorrow. Hope Richards is ok.
 
Richards is trying, just wasn't working today for him. If he's hurt by the Bolland hit then the Kings might be in some trouble. Kopitar and maybe Brown have got to be playing hurt cause they're generally doing squat and the Kings are lucky to have gone as for as they have so far with the way those two are playing. Have to see the replay of the Bolland hit but it wouldn't surprise me if it was a bit off, cause that's the way he plays, lurking in the shadows waiting for someone to have their head down.
 
I almost feel asleep watching that game, soooo boring.

That looked like a Terry Murray team.

Keep Brown off of the first line, he goes lifeless up on that line.
 
This is the worst game I've seen Kopitar play in his career.

Well judging by all the games we've won...just look what he's done in them. Without him on the power play we're screwed.

Kopitar is becoming a recurring problem. I don't really know what to say about him to be honest.

Bolland certainly won't be dropping the gloves to answer for his cheap shot, the guy is one of the biggest rats in the league.

I don't even think he has a career fight in the NHL.
 
IF Richards can't play, I think you gotta move Carter to center, and put a passer on his line. I'd go with:

Brown-Kopi-Toffoli
Penner-Carter-Williams
Richardson-Stoll-Lewis
Clifford/King-Fraser-

7 defensemen
 
I said it in the GDT, but the kings don't have the same drive to win this year. After every road game they talk about having better starts and playing 60 minutes. It's just not going happen this year.

Chicago has enough skill to win the series against quick.

Brown has to stay off that top line, he plays with zero fire on that line.

His best games, have been on the third line.

The only person that would stand up for that cheap hit would be Richards. But since its richards that got hit, no one will do anything about it. I wish our team was nasty. Eye for an eye, but the kings are too kicked back to do that kind of crap.
 
They've been zombified since the St. Louis series. I don't know how we got past the Sharks. All our top guys must be seriously banged up or fatigued....
 
Someone back me up here and look at the play that Richards got hit, the puck went in a came out the other end. Was that a goal? It crossed the line, and went right out.
