One of the reasons we've been good at home is that we've been able to match up Kopitar and Richards the way we want. Kopitar may not be scoring much, but he was helping keep Thornton in line on home ice, and that probably helped seal the series for us.

Exactly. That is the one thing no one can take away from Kopitar, he is by far the Kings best defensive center.

Thornton spent quite a bit less time in the offensive zone when the games were in LA.

are people really complaining about richards? without richards, we'd be eliminated in the first round. These players are doing decent to good in my book. Anyone not named these guys is playing at less than 50%
