Hintz was back but needed the first period to get his playoff timing back. Then he took over the game setting up Robertson twice. The Oilers couldn’t get through the Stars defense as the game went along, just like in game two.
roope looked awful the 1st period

but he came to play after

bottom line otter>skinner

that's your margin

So many Oilers fans said that Hintz was going to be a minimal factor and laughed at his return...
I get it. Most hockey fans only really follow their own team closely. They don’t realize how much Hintz is the straw that stirs the drink for the first line. His skating is a huge part of their transition game and puck possession game.

Very weird playoffs all in all. Lots of subpar performances from everyone.

But the Oilers always respond well to losses unfortunately. Fully expect them to win game 4 by a good margin.

Stars are a very good team. Oilers are forgetting they’re still not playing the Kings or Canucks.

If you don’t have that killer instinct, eventually you will run up against a team that does.

Dallas has the more complete roster so if at any point you back off, very likely you come out on the short end of the scoreboard.

The Oilers have a very good team and can comeback and make this a series but not if they don’t play a full game.

The Canucks who took the Oilers to seven, including to the brink of elimination, and nearly sent it to game 7 OT?

I do appreciate how you said that with complete sincerity like the Oilers didn’t almost get sent home by Vancouver with a 3rd stringer.

And missing Boeser and Demko.
His post cracked me up. 😆

Imagine a coach that actually chooses to play Cody Ceci 19 minutes of 5v5 time. The most on the team Almost a full two more minutes than nurse which is equally as bad
Looking down the bench who else do you play?

What an absolutely stunning game.....in so many respects. Wow!!!

TNT deserves a major 👎 for not even remotely mentioning that it was Memorial Day in the U.S. and making no reference whatsoever or paying their respects to all of those that made it possible for us to enjoy that incredible game. To all vets out there past and present, a million "thank yous." ❤️

The Canucks and Kings are golfing… Oilers are still playing. The Oilers are better team than either of them. Those 2 teams lost to a 2 man team, an “Oilers” defence and Stuart Skinner as their goalie. I mean how good can they be.

The Stars are proving to be a better team than the Oilers so far.

But the golf course is where the Stanley Cup is being won this year. Well at least according to Vegas

As much as I want the Oilers to lose, they are deserving to be in the conference finals this year.

Can someone make sure we tag this guy when the “come join us” heaven memes come out after Dallas closes this out?

At least you guys didn’t get swept this time.

Good series so far. The two teams are a lot closer than some would like to admit.

I still think Dallas is slightly better all round and will take this in 5 or 6.

I think the whole problem here is not that people think Edmonton does not deserve to play in the 3rd round. The deserve it, they won 2 series as everyone else.

The problem here is that their opponents were an AHL level team and a team with zero playoff experience and 3rd(or 4th?) goalie in the net.

And fans of other teams know that, but Oilers fans like to pretend they were facing Panthers and Rangers at least. And Edmonton is super strong team just because it is one of the 4 teams left.
