Talking about Ray Js got the taste buds going so I stopped in tonight for a couple Nordeast tall ones and a batch of wings and watched some hockey. Perfect Friday night.

For the morning Breakfast, go to Brigitte’s Cafe. Seriously that place is absolutely amazing.

With my team out of the playoffs I was looking for a team in the West to follow and after watching that high school hockey game the decision was easy (and I hope more people jump on the Minnesota bandwagon)! I also really like your jerseys.

With that said, and being as honest as you can, do you consider yourself a great hockey club with a great goalie or do you consider yourself as a good hockey team with a streaky goalie?

Which game?

Whoops - I'm a bit late.

Anyways, I'd recommend the Pickled Loon or White Horse (both downtown). Great brews & food.

I will be in Minneapolis for the Frozen Faceoff and Wild game this coming weekend. Staying at the Hilton in downtown Minneapolis. Any must eating joints in walking distance from hotel? I will have my 17 year old son with me.

Treat the boy and take him to Manny's :sarcasm:

But if you're looking for something laid back, Brit's Pub and The Local are a couple of my favorites.

Although both are soccer bars, so if you go earlier in the day when soccer is on, it might be a little rowdy.

Ha. Thanks. Not a soccer fan. May have to pass on those. Have always heard about Mannys. A great steak may be in order.

I'd still check out The Local if you're not a soccer fan, though. Just don't go on Saturday morning during the games. I've eaten there a few times and it's been very good each time.

Kind of an open ended question, but here goes.......

Breakfast I would suggest Keys at the Foshay
To gorge yourself on a multitude of meat products, I would suggest Fogo de Chao
For steaks alone, I would suggest any of the following three, Mannys, Murrays or Ruth's Chris

Assuming you will be driving over to St Paul for the games, you could stop for burgers at the Nook (or at Shamrocks "the Irish Nook" just down from the X), the Blue Door Pub or the 5-8.

Lots of other places between Mpls and St. Paul, if you have a particular like, ask away, you will get lots of suggestions.
