Well, using a 50 inch TV is brutal. But use strike zone 1 camera — it’s way easier to track the ball out of the hand. Always use the normal swing (can do contact swing too, if you’re desperate). Try to slow your thumb down and not get jerky.

For PCI, whatever floats your boat. I just use a middle fishbowl, nothing else. I find it intrusive. Experiment.

You’ll learn quickly what pitches you struggle with, you’ll notice opponent tendencies. Personally, I like to start high-middle inside, or keep my PCI on the pitcher’s hand. Inside sinkers are the meta to end all meta. If you’re offline, I’d stick to veteran difficulty, then work towards all-star.
I’m surprisingly good at having an idea where most pitches will wind up, but I do chase a ton because I’m me, and I’m usually either very early or very late. On rookie.

I started the RTTS and I’m hitting doubles no problem. I didn’t change any settings yet. No idea why I hit better here

I have since found out that I am also trash at base running from the base runners angle. I cannot get used to the direction arrows moving based on where I am and I’m just as bad using the triggers.

Don’t know if I’ve heard of stadium before.
Back in the days of the N64 there was an attachment, the Transfer Pak that let you hook up your Pokemon Red, Blue or Yellow versions on the N64 controller and you could use them in Pokemon Stadium. It was cool seeing the Pokemon you raised in 3D. Stadium is still playable but you have to use rental Pokemon with weird movesets. The real gem of Stadium are the mini games. Lots of hours spent playing them.

Larry Talbot ends his night with a 34 game hit streak, .690 average, 33 doubles, 104 hits, 5 HR, and only 11 runs.

I really like how this game handles summing until the ball will be played in your area.

That’s the mode I am playing

Now how do I hit! Lol
Thanks man
Being a good hitter in this game pretty much comes down to approach. More so head to head online since the CPU doesn’t have feelings but if you swing at enough shit the CPUs confidence meter goes up and they dot. Even if you don’t have the best thumbs, you can still be a good player if you are smart and patient. If you play head to head taking a few pitches whether you read the pitch correctly or not makes quite the impact. I know I get a bit rattled when a player spits on a close pitch (and vice versa). The earlier you establish you’re going to be patient the better.

Know what you can hit and can’t hit and look for that pitch(es) until you get two strikes. My approach changes depending on how my opponent is throwing me (most people have pretty obvious tendencies) but generally I look for something up early in the count since most like to throw four seam fastballs high and that is also where you are going to do damage with hanging breaking balls and changeups/splits. If you look up early you’ll also find that a lot of offspeed pitches land below the zone anyway. And if they do dot you up early, just tip your hat. You probably wouldn’t have done anything anyway. When you get two strikes I just sit the pci middle middle and react and hope he makes a mistake.

Also you can go into batting practice and turn the difficulty up to legend and try to get your timing and pci placement there. Everything else will look like cake in comparison.

OK what in the hell is this crap

I was playing FUT rivals, qualified for Champions, and started playing games... but every time I win it's counting as a loss.

Check this out. In the clip it shows me winning 6-0, my opponent forfeits, it says I won the game, it gives me my xp, and then I get back to the lobby and it says my record is "0-9".

I hadn't been paying attention to my record but before I started that game I noticed it said 0-8 and obviously I knew that's wasn't accurate, but I just figured I must have lost 8 times (didn't feel right, but it was possible) and it wasn't counting my wins. But no, it's actively adding wins to the loss column for some reason.

I swear all sports related things exist just to irritate me.

35ish hours into Trails from Zero. Dang a subplot hit me in the feels just now. Trails games slap for JRPG nerds, highly recommended.

The Last of Us Part II has some phenomenal combat/gameplay. A lot more challenging than the first game. Loving it so far (in very early stages of the game). Gorgeous looking game too. Top notch graphics.

Better than 2k?
Different...I wasn't too much a fan of 2ks mechanics..this for the most part has the same old mechanics and all the real courses and from what I saw ..a decent career mode. There is ATM a 10 hour trial which is what I am playing...gonna give a bit more...Lil harder than the last version that's for sure

I should have saved a clip of it, but forgot to.
Playing RTTS the other night, I hit a fastball down the middle for a line drive directly into the back of the pitchers head. Knocked him flat out cold. The SS run up to him and promptly ignored the pitcher, snagged the ball and threw me out going to first to end the inning.
The camera switches to the end of inning arial over the field, showing all the players run off, except for the pitcher out for the count on the mound.
It reminded me of madden (93?) where injured players would trigger an ambulance to drive onto the field, and mow down any player that was in the way to get to the hurt player.

Are there any must have players around or under 40k stubs?

The guys in the rewards path are going for around that - Lindor, Murakami. You can earn them through XP, but if you wanted to get a jump start...

The 97 overall WBC cards that just released Friday are going for like 15k. The Bogaerts card is pretty solid. Might be better off getting 2 or 3 of those to put in your lineup rather than one 40k guy.

Team Affinity is where most of the useful cards are though. Devers might be the best hitter in the game tbh.

I’m looking more for someone that isn’t part of a path; if that’s the right term. I’m not playing online yet so I don’t need any jump start. I also don’t “need” to spend the stubs just seeing if there’s an option out there.
I don’t know if anyone’s beating my man Bregman for the best hitter spot, at least on my team. He’s hitting bombs when I need them. Utley is chipping balls left and right too.
When I manage to hit that is.

I could not hit with that f***ing Utley.

Better off just saving up then and going for one of those 99 overall WBC players - Ohtani, Trout, Machado, JT, Julio, etc.
