Don't listen to this guy, @Starat327. My daughter turns 5 in two weeks and her sleep regression has lasted 4.5 years.

I approached this thing with the mentality that there are going to be some really shitty nights for the next 20 years or so. I'm mostly just taking the next 17 to mentally prepare myself for her college years.

First impression of beta is that it's off to a vastly better start than D3 was.

Nothing revolutionary. Solid.

I'm sure it is better. It couldn't exactly be worse.

Let me guess. The combat itself feels fantastic and you understood every bit of gearing in 5 seconds.

If you played D3 you already understand every bit of gearing. Anything new gets introduced as you level and is explained.

I read through my skill tree and mental mathed the current best build in one try.

We're here for a good time, not a thinky time.

I've been doing a sorcerer named Tumor. If you move and position well, things go nicely. Lose track of things and get caught in a spot without evade or teleport ready, and you start getting crunched. That's just on normal. Seems fair enough. I can see melee classes being a slog against mobs, since you have to run into the mess and take damage.
Necromancer named Carnabius here. He’s named after the mispronunciation of Yukon Cornelius by one of my kids.

i was at first wondering if you get to carry more health pots as you go..but it seems not as they drop so frequently..and i keep running out of mana lol

Is there going to be a hf clan or anything?
I can confirm that progress is shared between systems. Started on ps5 last night, lag and rubberbanding was ungodly, and continued where I left off on PC where everything was smooth as glass.

I love how you get drugged from a meal you were given by people you just met, with the purpose of butchering and eating you. The very next person you meet, you eat his food without hesitation. Like nothing happened to you just an hour beforehand

I enjoyed it a lot. I maxed out playing through what I could. Rolled with a typical hydra build but experimented with a few things.

Enjoying it a lot. It’s really solid and a preorder I am keeping. I am debating hoping on today but most likely done for the beta.

One thing I actually really like is it’s a “soft” mmo. See a few people in town, see a few people out in the wild… it’s not like you are crammed with tons of people everywhere. Showed up to go after the world boss and a few people were just chilling in the area waiting

My friends are now obsessed with No Man's Sky and it's so much goddamned WORK to do anything. I am getting much more enjoyment out of being able to play The Legend of Dragoon again but I get incessantly mocked for not hating anything to do with Japan because weeaboos. Except From Software games that aren't Sekiro because samurais are weeaboo stuff too.

I've been playing for the past month or so and it is very grindy - and co-op play is annoying in that each player has to complete the story objectives to move things forward.

But, it's still fun to roam the stars and explore the galaxy, even if the planets are pretty same-y. We're working now on setting up some kind of cash generation.

I'll boot up No Man's Sky occasionally, but only in creative mode, and all I'll do is fly around and look for weird animals/planets.

If I buy the show 23, how hard is it to get drafted by the Phillies as a shortstop so I can get stott off the damn team?

Man I am trash at this game. I’m either really early or really late on my swings.
