That's why I like how Vegas operates. No sentimentality.
Agreed, I think that's where most of the ire comes from them with them. If our teams did it, we'd love our managements

The Kings aren't winning shit with these goalies. Couldn't even beat the sorry ass Oilers when Quick was around they sure as shit won't with the two jabronis they have now.Umm, you're a Kings fan who might have the Kings face Vegas and you like this?
Yeah, they completely made it up, fudged all the reports, sent it to all the reporters who they knew would take it and run with it without checking for any verification, and all the evidence is buried in a super-secret storage locker in a part of Area 51 that even those with uber-secret high security clearance can't access.Has there even been any confirmation of that injury, or did they just plant the seeds to Seravelli and then everyone ran with his speculation?
Should have an asterisk next your cup win last year.
If some other team jumps in to gain a 4th round pick to take on, what amounts to be 1/16 of his contract, so be it.I'm not concerned. I just see retention, especially if the 75% retention is true as more of a premium that offsets the lower value of being a pending UFA. I don't think Mirmonanov is an overly valuable asset. There's potential there for a guy that has a late break out but I don't think it's very likely.

Thanks to Bettman's wonderful playoff format that's a likely rd1 playoff matchup for a 3rd straight time. So at this point I'll just get enjoyment from people whining about Vegas winning again.
No way. Game 4 possibly.Im guessing Stones timeline must be game 1 of playoffs then...
Conditioning starts well before the spleen fully heals, but regardless if you're allowed to stretch "conditioning" as long as you want after an injury then its impossible to stop this cap exploiting from happening. Really what needs to happen is a rule change where you either have to be cap compliant in the playoffs on your active roster or you have to play a post-trade deadline game to be eligible for the playoffs.Really? If diagnostic imaging suggests his spleen is no longer lacerated, that guarantees he's ready to play, no questions asked, 100% certainty? No warmup needed, no conditioning to get back in game shape and avoid other injuries from not being fully ready to play?
"they" never said anything. Literally the only person who did was Seravelli.Yeah, they completely made it up, fudged all the reports, sent it to all the reporters who they knew would take it and run with it without checking for any verification, and all the evidence is buried in a super-secret storage locker in a part of Area 51 that even those with uber-secret high security clearance can't access.

Vegas is dragging the league forwardHardly a Vegas fan but the salt from many is amusing. This franchise does anything it can possibly do to win. Love it. Fans of teams who haven’t won in decades complaining about Vegas’ methods while maintaining a “holier than thou” attitude about how their team handles business crack me up.
they start the rebuild with multiple rings on their fingersSo is VGK just buying until the tires fall off the car? What happens when their stars get old and they don’t have ammo for big game hunting? Will they rebuild as aggressively?
Meh their names are still on the trophy whether you wanna acknowledge it or not. Of course their collapse is inevitable. But it paid off in a 32 team league.Vegas can kick rocks. Cups or not, they are still an expansion franchise to me and I can’t take that clown show seriously. Only a matter of time before it’s blown up.
