Confirmed Trade: [VGK/CGY/PHI] Noah Hanifin (75% retained), Mikhail Vorobyov to VGK; 2026 1st , 2025 cond. 3rd, Daniil Miromanov to CGY; 2024 5th to PHI

Yeah. That figures. The rich continue to get richer. Vegas will conveniently LTIR their way to the playoffs and suddenly, "behold, he has risen indeed!"

At this point...if you're not taking advantage of that quasi loophole, are you even really trying?

Gotta be one hell of a plus with that retention. Miromanov is like a guy who's almost good enough to be a dynamic OFD but his hockey IQ issues hold him back.
Don't know why fans get so concerned about retention of a UFA to be at the TDL?

It's only a big deal if that player has another year or more left on their contract. But, a pending UFA, is that really a big deal? Not like the team that dealt that player away needed the cap room to close out the season.

And the NHL isn't the NFL where cap space does roll over into the following season.

Yes me and the entire NHL fandom are whiny little babies. It's two years the same story with Stone. Magically hurt and back for game 1 of the playoffs. Not the spirit of the rule, of course someone like Landeskog who is hurt for basically two full seasons is why the rule exists. Not for game 1 of playoff fixing like TBay and Vegas have done of late. The NHL is complicit in it, its just lame. I said the same when Kucherov situation happened.
Hopefully you will be able to read this through tear-soaked eyes. They don't know if he will be active by Game 1. They have explicitly stated that it looks like he will not be.

Loophole will stay open til a team like the Sens try it, NHL will block the deal and take away another 1st from them

Should be every opposing team's duty to play Vegas players into the ground for the rest of the season and for the bottom feeders to go easy on St. Louis so they have a better chance to make it in and hopefully get cheatin' Vegas the F out.
Give Binner a chance 😎

Every other team in the league with a Hired investigators following him. Them getting nailed would be glorious. Vegas and cheating go hand in hand but their not the only ones.

Anyhow congratulations.

Yes please, especially if the Flames own their 1st!

Love it for Vegas, especially if they can sign him. Let the tears of other jealous fanbases flow

Umm, you're a Kings fan who might have the Kings face Vegas and you like this?

Within the CBA so I don't care but sucks seeing a divisional rival and potential opponent adding a top 4 D.

Stone missed most of 21-22 and Vegas missed the playoffs. Was that a fake injury too?
