Soooooo who is your replacement for Yandle, again?
Blue line is a mess however Rangers are talented and deep as far as forwards are concerned.

Lots of NCAA guys in New York these days
Rangers aren't even giving him an opportunity at full bonuses.
Not too surprising, I'm just happy the Hawks didn't get him. I'll take it.
Disagree that it was all about the money.
It was the whole package that NY had to offer.
Only took what 40 something million dollars?
Lol his GPA was probably 2.5.... Doesnt seem like an academic type
Except that it's not the fact is since 2012 the NYR have given away picks and prospects like candy on Halloween when you do that the prospect pool suffers and that's fine if you win championships like Chicago but New York hasn't.
It's going take a couple years to restock the farm.
So. Who does he play with on the Rangers?
Probably because they didn't lose to PITs 3rd string goalie and were not completely dominated for long stretches of time. The NYR series was never in question once Zatkoff was replaced. The WSH series despite the odds being in PITs favor after their early lead was much more of a question mark.
Which wasn't far off from what the Islanders were offering.
Rangers played more hockey then any other team in the past what 3-5 years going into that series with the Pens as well? Whatever team on decline. Can't wait for that top 5 pick next year who will play with Vesey.
Two bad games where you get blown out out of a total of five games is not really screaming contender
They can't actually offer him that bonus amount. Performance bonuses (maxed) is 850k. The major awards is 2m.
Or even the "generational" Auston Matthews?
Rangers was the wrong choice for him he could have played with a real #1 Center in Eichel. Rangers will be in a rebuild in 3 years when the Sabres will be contending for a cup!
Long Island isn't Manhattan

Lundqvist with two eyes certainly helps.
