Crazy season for the Knights, missed the play-offs last season, at one point it looked like they were missing the play-offs again
the Eichel play-offs curse?, well they had a big run, eventually won their division, won 51 games and scored 111 team points.
- now they Q'd to the WCF, congrats!

From January 29th to last game of the regular season, just 4 regulation losses for Vegas; 23 wins, 51 team points.

Not sure I really see a problem here. Some of the guys in the handshake line are former teammates and friends and you always see them chat it up a little bit. Outside of that slash those two have no history. It would have been weirder to see them embrace and talk to be honest.

No need to admit anything. Saw my teams captain raise the cup and the rest of the fans wonder why Lidstrom was nowhere to be found to shake hands. Apparently he took the loss to heart, because he was never the same afterwards.

St. Louis made the SCF in their first 3 years of existence, but that was mostly due to the weird divisional alignment at the time over them being really good teams. They were below .500 and made the finals their 1st season.

Vegas beat them as a group. They held them to 10 goals last 4 games & outplayed them 5 on 5 .And seriously I think Hill entering series helped Vegas he played well.

William Karlsson and his line doesn't get enough credit for shutting down McDavid and Draisaitl 5 on 5. This line saw most of the time against McDavid. He's no Phil Danault but his line did one heck of a job smothering #97 and #29.

Skinner isn't good either but he's better than Campbell.

But that's the point, that the DoPS doesn't know their own ass from their head. If Pietrangelo had done that to any other player on any other team in the league, the fans of that team would be wanting more than a game. That was one of the dirtier (and dumber) plays in recent playoff history.

DoPS got just about everything wrong these playoffs. Makar should have gotten 2, Eberle should have gotten 1, Pietro should have gotten at least 2.
