It's always the league or the ref's fault, the Oilers never lose
4 first overalls in 6 years and the Oilers fans still say the league is rigged against them...lol

Yeah... that's what I said... Sigh.4 first overalls in 6 years and the Oilers fans still say the league is rigged against them...lol
Billy Smith NEVER shook hands win or lose. he regarded the opponent as the enemy who was trying to take money out of his pocket and was very brash and vocal about itThe line he’s giving you about Crosby and Lidstrom is pure fiction.
Drai is hardly the first player to do this in the line.
Ironically he's talking about Edmonton fans here too lolBilly Smith NEVER shook hands win or lose. he regarded the opponent as the enemy who was trying to take money out of his pocket and was very brash and vocal about it
Give Vegas an above average or elite goaltender and they would have won.this felt like an out coached situation. Oilers did nothing to adapt except pair Mcdavid and Drai together nothing else changed. Vegas plugged up holes after bad periods and were relentless. However, let's be real: Oilers with above average to elite goaltending would be advancing with ease.
Holy f***. Move on already. We call that the Dark Times. Missing the playoffs last year was better.
Were they yelling we want Florida!!! LolIdiots from Edmonton being, what they see, idiots.
Draisaitl... What a fragile ego... including a massive flop in the 3rd period trying to draw a call.
I have moved on... I didn't even bring it up. I just stated that missing the playoffs because you don't deserve to be in the playoffs feels a whole lot better than getting eliminated due to a crap call followed by immediately by an epic collapse.Holy f***. Move on already.
Looks he just stepped out of a trench in the Ukraine.
Kane the dirtbag should have gotten 4 games.Kane's running crosscheck into Pietrangelo's neck was worse...
They've not had more success. I mean, they made it one round further one time (and then got swept), but that's about it. Every other measure, the Ovechkin Caps were much better. It feels like McDavid is having that Ovechkin like career where his team can't really get it done in the playoffs. Ovechkin won his cup 5 years ago at age 32. McDavid is only 26. He's had better runs at it than Ovechkin had for the longest time before they finally made it past the conference finals. McDavid and the Oilers will get their at some point. They have already had more success than the Caps did till 2018 and they had some real powerhouse Presidents Trophy caliber teams who couldn't win more than a round or 2 in the playoffs for years.
How is “they win when they score a ton of goal” in any way evidence that “defense wins”?Knights are now 38-1 this year when scoring 4+ goals. Defense wins.
They had the most wins because of shootouts.Skinner was bad.... but so was the defense around him.
People slept on Vegas because they played 5 goalies... they still had the most wins in the conference because of their defense. Led the league in blocked shots..... Great D makes a goalies life so much easier. Not just the D-men- You got to get the support from your forwards on D. Two of the Knights goals tonight were because Draisaitl was not playing defense. I don't blame him considering how much time he plays.
They won the World Series before93 I thought?Year #30 of Canada going without a stanley cup.
To put it into context Canada has won a World Series, NBA title and MLS title in that same time span despite only have at most a couple canadian reps in those leagues as opposed to the 6 to 8 the NHL has had.
for an even bigger mindf***; an American team won a Grey Cup since a Canadian team won the Stanley Cup.
Why the f*** would be shake hands with a guy who tried to wreck his hands with s slash?Ego is bigger than his head. The guy is one of the dirtiest “stars” in the league. Show some respect to the team that just bested you
