They ran a graphic during the game at one point. High danger chances for/against Eichel were 10-8, but goals were 7-1. When he got chances against Skinner he scored, when the Oilers got chances against him Hill made the saves. Really what it comes down to.

Look at the team Crosby and Malkin won with in 2009. Look at the 2006 Canes. 2019 Blues. McDavid and Draisaitl care about points, not having their team ready to win and give their all.

I don't particularly agree with McDavid, but Drai sure; he's a floater and has pretty awful results by himself at 5v5 for the caliber of player he is.

The Pens had better defense I'd say, both in terms of dmen and defensive forwards. I think I remember Fleury not being that great in these playoffs though. Crosby and Malkin did the hard carry for sure.

2006 Canes cheated and should have had their cup revoked.

Blues had not terrible goaltending, had better D, and mostly better coaching. Also had a strong showing from their depth players once the playoffs started.

Skinner was bad.... but so was the defense around him.

People slept on Vegas because they played 5 goalies... they still had the most wins in the conference because of their defense. Led the league in blocked shots..... Great D makes a goalies life so much easier. Not just the D-men- You got to get the support from your forwards on D. Two of the Knights goals tonight were because Draisaitl was not playing defense. I don't blame him considering how much time he plays.
