We’re getting destroyed again. Down 3-0 in the first period. And people say this is part of a plan to help us win.

No one is questioning him actually being injured.
I’m glad you’re not but some of the responses here do seem to suggest that.

Hey look our power play sucks and I have no confidence in it without Eichel and Stone. But I’m reading posts saying this is “convenient” and will help us win another cup.

Exactly. That's the brilliant part of the conspiracy. It helps Vegas barely get into the playoffs where they'll get a tougher opponent - maybe even get crossed over to the Central with Colorado, Dallas and Winnipeg - and with everyone showing back up at the start of the playoffs they'll be able to take that better team by surprise, then mow through other opponents on the way to the Cup, and all without ever having home ice advantage.

I’d understand the pushback against people crying foul, but in reality what are the odds Stones first game back is playoff game 1. Gotta be damn near 100%
People aren’t just saying he will be back. They say he will be 100%, even though last year he was seen on video with a noticeable limp after game 1. And some of those people would probably say he was faking it.

If Eichel is back, they put Stone on LTIR and use his space to bring in a Guentzel, this team should have no problem finishing top three in the pacific. Add Stone to that team and there you go.

Love that people consider doing something allowed within the rules as cheating.
Love that people pretend to not know what abusing a loophole is.

I doubt that
People are questioning when he is actually physically ready to return. Will he be far too injured to play in game 82, but healthy enough a couple days later for the most physically demanding part of the year, game 1 ?

Well we still haven’t gotten Guentzel yet. Last years team didn’t get a player anywhere near that. Is he really going to be acquired that easily? Nobody else wants him?

Two years ago people said the team should have no trouble making the postseason and the team collapsed instead.

Two years ago the team tried too hard to be shrewd with how they moved their pieces in and out of the lineup and then expecting it wouldn't take Eichel at least a year to find his game again. They played themselves.

Also, I said like A Guentzel, not necessarily him. in other words a higher-priced player they otherwise would not be able to fit in.

Two years ago, not last year. Two years ago they missed the playoffs. Last year they tried it again and learned from their LTIR mistakes from the past.

You sir, are a fish.
