If you say so. I don't think him saying he's happy with his game includes those goals. What would you have him change? I think his plan is to stop those pucks, should his approach be different?

Not sure moping about his game is going to help him, he knows what he needs to do, and he's done it plenty this season.

I am still optimistic about the Jets chances. We have won 3 games in a row before and we can do it again. Don't stop believin'

Rubbish is bad goaltending, poor performance by key players, and outstanding goaltending by their guy.
We aren't the best team till Helly is the best goalie.
Mad Buff/ Seriously bad decision Schiefele /not as good as we thought Laine/ Hutch at the Rinne moment is probably too late.
I can handle next year....hope the Jets can.

What was our record/pts % without Stastny vs with? Chevy tried getting Brassard who had another year @5M maybe he can work something with Stastny and maneuver the cap similar to how he was gonna do with Brassard

With our Cap situation in the coming years the chances of signing Stastny are slim to none, first they would have to move contracts and he would want to resign here , not impossible but highly unlikely.

U guys need to chill out on the doom n gloom. Tampa was down 2-0 going into Washington and tied it on the road. U guys have the next game at home win that one and u got a series again.

Except the refs helped Tampa win those games.

Leafs fan here in peace... was rooting for you guys.

Seemed like your D at times would be weary and a bit less willing to enter a battle with Vegas when coming in strong.

This game here was almost a mirror image of a few of the games the Leafs had VS Boston

Lead shots and zone time, but whenever they *boston* get a rare clean breakout, its played to perfection and creates a goal/ high dangerous chance

We have a bunch of 20 year olds who were not ready to play physical, and our D is nowhere near as tough or as talented as you guys,so what was it? Is vegas really that much of a physical team?

Hope you guys rally hard, just some bad luck it seems and very good luck for Vegas.

Hope Byfuglien plays better next game during cruch time, he seemed a bit overwhelmed in the end. That last Goal was a nasty post-er and it was a Millimeter in the right side for the Knights. Vasy wasnt at fault for that.

This loss was 80% on Buff, he was directly responsible for goals 1 and 3 against. What was that pinch when shorthanded? 20% on Helle. What was he doing on the second goal? Also, would it kill him to save the puck a few times?

Vegas scores on every mistake. Every single one.

Laine was the Jets’s best player today. I wonder if he plays too much video games as he can be so good?

8 easy goals allowed in last three games. No doubt Jets lose when they keep giving those easy goals. Stupid penalty for Myers to make that one kind of easy goal as well, so that would be 9 easy goals out of 9. Empty netter stat padder does not count, otherwise that would be 10/10.

Saddening.

You need to D and be smart guys! That's the only way to win.

Nothing. He is a good goalie. But he definitely should change the obvious. The obvious has costed much to the team in last two games.

Yes Helly has let in a couple of back breakers.....

But what has happened to a lot of our guys in front of him? Our multi-line scoring punch has completely evaporated, and just about every goal against us, has started off with some sort of turnover or bad decision.....

Also.... Buff is a vet, with playoff experience - why the utter crap show, down the stretch, tonight?

Frustrating to be losing these winnable games - Knights are not doing any thing special, except feast on our errors, and have MAF shut the door.....

The next 3 are also winnable, but it boils down to ......getting things done.
