My goodness, my fellow Canucks fans, some of us are being completely insufferable. We can be beyond happy that we have had a 1st half of the season that was completely unexpected and just enjoy a little success for the first time in a long time without being completely obnoxious and batshit crazy defending every post or theme we disagree with. I am a little embarrassed by it all.

But to all of you haters, shooting percentage and PDO pushers, can you please just allow a little short term celebration about the first success a franchise has had in years (and at that, pretty low level success)? Edmonton fans in particular (but others too), you have had so much to cheer about over the years, please give us a break- GEESH. The fact is, the team has been both lucky and good for these 35 ish games. It has been a lot of fun to watch games and not feel like complete poop after. Please maybe understand how hard it is to be a fan of a franchise that has never won a cup and has suffered through so much, and possibly have some empathy for an over the top celebration by some of us who are also completely shocked by the winning percentage, standings, shooting percentage, PDO etc..

But let's be honest, this team has been good, but there will be a crashing back to earth for individuals and likely for the team, AND there is nothing QUIET about what the Canucks or their players have done this year. We are on here all the time reminding everyone how impressive it has been, and to be fair, nobody really needs reminding.

Peace

I'm more embarassed by the people who call themselves Canuck fans and still pop up in every thread to talk about how the Canucks are totally just about to fall apart.

Like you just did.

That's some weak ass embarassing nonsense. it's not "being honest", it's being a loser shitting on your own team to try and suck up to people. It's pathetic.
How is attacking your fellow fans for thinking differently from you supposed to be better.

Vancouver only does things ‘quietly’ when they aren’t winning and no one is going to games.
I actually watched all Canucks games last year and paid $300 to attend their games last year. Heck I even watched all their games during the Benning era.

Demko has been average this month. He's posted a sub .900 sv % in all but 2 starts in December.

Top 2 lines have been hit or miss this month. Still producing but not playing as well as they are capable of.

PP is 5 for 35 in December.....

Yet the Canucks are 8-1-2 in December. 3rd line of Joshua Blueger Garland has been lethal and the teams best line. This team is a much deeper than a lot of people realize and that's a credit to management for surrounding the core with a lot of solid pieces.

I respect your dedication - Benning was atrocious.

$300, one game two beers and a hot dog?

They are 100% going to regress. Canuck fans can laugh and mock the PDO stats all they want but they quite literally always regress back towards the mean. No team in history has had a PDO remotely close to where they are right now.... I mean hell the Bruins last year had a historic PDO year and this years Canucks still blow that number out of the water. So yes, some regression is coming.

No was 3 games lol, no hotdogs or beers, just Costco pizza next door 🤣

Jesus Christ are you shitting me?

I’m a Leafs fan and living in SEA and it’d be cheaper for me to book a return to LAX, hotel, game tickets and beer and a nice restaurant und some ‘company’ than it would be living in Toronto and getting Leafs tickets.

“Quietly”. At this exact moment, the top three threads on the main boards are about the Canucks.

weird!

it's almost like it's later elsewhere, 4am in some places and still relatively early on the west coast

it's like magic

(this happens routinely, at this time, but you're just noticing now when it's positive threads)

Canucks games can get expensive and that's not factoring the 9 dollar beer or 18 dollar jumbo hot dogs. The Costco next door has a booming business though with all Canucks fans getting $1.50 hotdog and drink before the game 🤣

someone give them something to make them feel better about 2011.

In all seriousness, good for them. Its not quiet though, I constantly am bombarded with media posts about how good Hughes, Boeser, Miller, Pettersson and the canucks are. Good for them, its nice to see.
