Speculation: Vancouver Canucks are asking for Kadri + Bozak or Kadri + Gardiner for Luongo

I really dont think that MLSE would trade Gardner

The people that go to fill the building have seen how good he is going to be.

I hope there be a huge revolt

I want the Detroit owners they just do it right

Hunters ( at least being from London ) I have complete confidence in how they run things

I wish my Grandfather had never introduce me to the Leafs

We as fans are the laughing stock of other hockey teams

We shouldnt be giving up anything for that contract

I know. How silly of us to think Kadri is worth keeping. After all, he had a full 51 games to prove himself! And he's been an ancient 19-22 year old while playing for us, and learning the game. Kids that age usually score at a top 6 pace anyways. The fact that he has made the AHL his ***** the past two years means nothing to us.

The reason the Leafs have not been able to compete with the powerhouse teams of the last 10 years is because we have made too many short sighted moves by being impatient with our young players. This move would just put us back on that path. How the hell do you know trading him will not set us back? You speak as if we have an abundance of top forward prospects. The fact still remains that he is our best, and most talented forward prospect. Trading him for a player with a **** contract hurts can hurt us a lot more than it can help us.
 
Geez, if we're not trading first round picks, we're drafting them and then trading them before their prime age. I wish this franchise and fanbase had more patience.

Nonis said he's a more patient GM than Burke, but a trade like either of these rumours would contradict that statement right away. Would not be off to a good start.
 
It would be funny if this trade went down. Burke came in and preached patience and building through the draft...then trades two firsts and a 2nd for Kessel. Nonis comes in and says he will be more patient...then trades our young 1st round pick forward for an old, huge contract goalie like Luongo.

Stop selling us false hope. There is no doubt that overpaying for Luongo would be a disaster for this franchise. We need to keep our assets at this point.

DID WE NOT LEARN ANYTHING FROM THE KESSEL DEAL?!

Kadri and Gardiner could be Seguin and Hamilton all over again, while Luongo could be anothe Raycroft for us. History just repeats itself in Leaf nation if this happens, and I will be beyond complete and utter rage.
 
Seriously, offer Rielly before Gardiner. Either though would be still be terrible.

Do you really, REALLY think our garbage lineup will be able to go on an LA Kings style run? Where is our 3 headed monster at center? Grabs, Mcclement, Steckel...lol. Where is our stout D? And for what it's worth, Quick >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Luongo. This trade doesn't make us cup contenders, it makes us 8th place contenders.

I'm not willing to part with Gardiner for that.

And the Leafs would become the first team in professional sports history to trade away 3 top 10 picks in 3 consecutive years. I think that would be enough to make me walk away from this team for good.

I simply do not believe Kadri and Gardiner. It's an astonishing overpayment. Kadri or Gardiner alone is an astonishing overpayment. Gilles has lost his mind, just keep LOU!!
 
I do not want Luongo, sure we have a ? in net but guess what, who wants to go to the playoffs and only last 4 games, who wants to go to a party and only have a bite of cake. WE WANT THE WHOLE ****ING PARTY *****!

Just draft, just sit back and draft, let us grow, we're like one of the youngest teams and what the hell, WHAT A CRAZY DAY MAN!
 
The love for Kadri is insane the kid is very overated tell me what you have seen from him at the NHL level to justify him being a super star many make it out to be if we can get Luongo for him + Bozak would be a steal.
