Tavares has to do the honorable thing and request a trade.
We've got 120 games left of this shit.
No, he needs to get apply for his permanent residency on Robidas Island.

Tbh I kinda feel like that's on the players like what is the coach supposed to do in that situation, clearly they have the talent so the coach can't do much in that situation IMO. Trading and replacing some of your bottom six and adding to your D core and wait for Woll to comeback or get a stopgap goalie for cheap then it would be beneficial IMO, although every coach has a shelf life so he's probably going to get fired, although I'd say the main cause for this slide is the Goaltending, defense, and depth.Coaching is definitely a major issue. The team never comes ready to play, as you saw tonight going down 3-0 in the first. It's on the coach to get the guys ready to play each night. Slow starts have always been a problem under Keefe, especially at home.
Random NPC on the net questions my sports fandom allegiance...Yep you are real fan not
We have one puck mover in the entire groupBrodie and gio are done.
Lilly is easily muscled off the puck.
Mccabe is awful with the puck.
You can’t compete with that defense.
No matter what matthews marner and Nylander do.
We may need to step up from having a smoke to sniffing some glue.
can you go post on your own board, like in what world is it a good idea to come into another teams board after a loss?, imagine if a Leafs poster entered you board and posted would be an instant infractionTbh I kinda feel like that's on the players like what is the coach supposed to do in that situation, clearly they have the talent so the coach can't do much in that situation IMO. We need a guy like Klingberg!...wait a sec....We have one puck mover in the entire group
Our transition game sucks because of it
How is our defense just as bad as it was in 2017
Ebbs and flows, seldom a game is dominated wire to wireSo Canucks are trash, but we lost to them. It was all the refs fault, powerplays were pretty much even.
Maybe if they played the first period, the outcome may have been different
when did we get swept? So you're wishing the Leafs treatment on them, huh? Pretty harsh.
I agree but it won’t happen. No, he needs to get apply for his permanent residency on Robidas Island.
I don’t think Keefe is the coach next week. I don’t think that Calgary win was enough to save his job
Were closer to the Blues winning the Cup than we are to selling. Come on man. This team is a f***ing embarrassment. Rest of Canada is dunking on us this season too, even the f***ing Sens have beaten us twice. This season is a bust, just sell assets and focus on next year. Maybe even keep Keefe until end of season so you can get the highest pick possible
I'm thinking that hit a few years ago by Perry might be manifesting some new symptoms requiring an early retirement. We can't be too careful with head injuries. No, he needs to get apply for his permanent residency on Robidas Island.
The guy is so robotic and uninspiring. Feels like the window is closed until he’s off the books. I don’t want him back even at vet min. He can’t keep up and in a bottom 6 role these days you gotta be able to skate and forecheck.I don't like him and yeah he's cooked
Been like this since Babcock days. What’s the common denominator? There’s your answer. I know people won’t like it but it’s the truth.Coaching is definitely a major issue. I'm not even being rude, I'm just talking about ways to improve the team, also the Leafs are my 2nd favourite team so idk why you are being so defensive.can you go post on your own board, like in what world is it a good idea to come into another teams board after a loss?, imagine if a Leafs poster entered you board and posted would be an instant infraction
Respectfully, as an outside fan, you're not going to have as much perspective as us. Don't get me wrong, the roster is extremely top heavy and poorly constructed, but that's just one issue. Another is the country club culture of the core players (Matthews, Marner, Nylander) and the coaching is another, which is tied into the country club atmosphere. The number of insanely embarrassing losses this team has with Keefe at the helm is enough to encompass an entire franchise worth for every other NHL team:Tbh I kinda feel like that's on the players like what is the coach supposed to do in that situation, clearly they have the talent so the coach can't do much in that situation IMO. Hard to say. I think a win tomorrow keeps him alive as this would end up a .500 trip. If the Jets push our poop in, then him being gone again is back on the table.
A new coach might give us all a better feeling, but I'm not convinced enough of our problems can be solely attributed to coaching where a change will make a big difference.
