Tbh I kinda feel like that's on the players like what is the coach supposed to do in that situation, clearly they have the talent so the coach can't do much in that situation IMO. Trading and replacing some of your bottom six and adding to your D core and wait for Woll to comeback or get a stopgap goalie for cheap then it would be beneficial IMO, although every coach has a shelf life so he's probably going to get fired, although I'd say the main cause for this slide is the Goaltending, defense, and depth.

This team is a f***ing embarrassment. Rest of Canada is dunking on us this season too, even the f***ing Sens have beaten us twice. This season is a bust, just sell assets and focus on next year. Maybe even keep Keefe until end of season so you can get the highest pick possible

Too many guys who can’t play defence on this squad. Gio cooked, Brodie cooked and/or has had terrible off ice stuff in his life likely affecting him. Bertuzzi is clueless, Domi’s line is an automatic goal against if they get hemmed in. Knies is a rookie and playing way more games than he’s used to so at least he’s got that excuse, Sheldon has no good one for continuing to play him when Robertson is sitting in the press box collecting dust and, I can’t stress this enough, needs to f***ing play. John’s lost a step and Nylander is what he is defensively. Kampf is only as good as his wingers and he’s flanked by two barely NHL calibre guys.

Hard to say. I think a win tomorrow keeps him alive as this would end up a .500 trip. If the Jets push our poop in, then him being gone again is back on the table.
A new coach might give us all a better feeling, but I'm not convinced enough of our problems can be solely attributed to coaching where a change will make a big difference.

The guy is so robotic and uninspiring. Feels like the window is closed until he’s off the books. I don’t want him back even at vet min. He can’t keep up and in a bottom 6 role these days you gotta be able to skate and forecheck.

Respectfully, as an outside fan, you're not going to have as much perspective as us. Don't get me wrong, the roster is extremely top heavy and poorly constructed, but that's just one issue. Another is the country club culture of the core players (Matthews, Marner, Nylander) and the coaching is another, which is tied into the country club atmosphere. The number of insanely embarrassing losses this team has with Keefe at the helm is enough to encompass an entire franchise worth for every other NHL team:
- JT's return to Long Island
- Zamboni driver game
- Losing twice to the COVID Canucks (I'm sure you remember those, lol)
- Blowing a 5-1 lead to Ottawa at home
- Losing to the 7-1 to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins
I could go on and on, but you get my point.
That's fine, at least it's worth a shot. Get a new coach already
