Things won’t change much until 2025 but we should be able to add 1 top 4 dman by the summer anyway. Too funny all along we were thinking William is going to be the odd man out, he may be the last one standing. Can’t write this stuff. Lol

Respectfully, as an outside fan, you're not going to have as much perspective as us. Don't get me wrong, the roster is extremely top heavy and poorly constructed, but that's just one issue. Another is the country club culture of the core players (Matthews, Marner, Nylander) and the coaching is another, which is tied into the country club atmosphere. The number of insanely embarrassing losses this team has with Keefe at the helm is enough to encompass an entire franchise worth for every other NHL team:

- JT's return to Long Island
- Zamboni driver game
- Losing twice to the COVID Canucks (I'm sure you remember those, lol)
- Blowing a 5-1 lead to Ottawa at home
- Losing to the 7-1 to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins

I could go on and on, but you get my point.

Keefe is an idiot running Knies into the ground on the top 6. He wasn't ready to run with the big boys.

Now he's clearly banged up from the abuse and going through a useless stage. If we just kept him in the bottom 6 all along, he'd still be flying.

Keefe tends to run his assets into the ground by overuse.

He looks like a guy who has issues building trust and stable roles with his whole roster and when things go poorly he draws that circle of trust even smaller, getting even less out of under used parts.

Nobody outside of the star group other than Benoit is thriving.

The JT return game was under Babcock. They had embarassing loses with him too. Seems like a player problem.
They should fire Keefe so he doesn't have to coach these losers.

Vancouver has the depth I thought we had before the off-season signings exploded in our face and a couple players just fell off a cliff.

We can legitimately argue how good of a coach Keefe has been for us and I might be proven wrong but... It's not working. We need a new strategy.

This team is a f***ing embarrassment. Rest of Canada is dunking on us this season too, even the f***ing Sens have beaten us twice. This season is a bust, just sell assets and focus on next year. Maybe even keep Keefe until end of season so you can get the highest pick possible you should try

I couldn't care less about the rest of Canada. Let them pretend that there's some kind of a rivalry with us. The only clubs I care about beating are south of us.
