This year, 75 in 62 so far, vs Nylander's D+7 of 42 in 51.

Pettersson crushes when you look at direct year by year comparison, Nylander is only close because he's been 2 years ahead developmentally.

That's true but you can only sign based on the stats that are presented. You can't just exclude Nylander's extra years because he signed later.

Also, progress isn't infinite. Nylander could improve & Pettersson could not or vice versa. Either way, it's a good contract. He is making more than Nylander anyway.

Nylander signed all UFA years, Petterson gave up a RFA year.

What’s Kaprisov getting?

I don’t know at this point. He’s been a pain to deal with from a contract standpoint every step of the way. After 55 games with absolutely no leverage he got 9 x 5 when everyone expected something like 7.5. He’s going to leverage everything this time. Same agent as Panarin. Panarin got 11 like 6 years ago when Kaprizov will be up.
