Come on guys listing bains ahead of bru is just cope
i think they are equal value. Nux have put a lot of development into Bains. Young and one of the best Ahlers currently. middle six playmaking winger potential...Bru is younger but his ceiling isnt much higher.

Vancouver will have their answer way sooner than that. If they don't win a round and lindholm leaves, it obviously won't look very good.

Can't really put that on him. You paid for a rental.

The big question mark is that kuzmenkov got thrown in as a borderline cap dump. If we can get more value for him that tips the value of the trade

and his play away from the puck will give up 80 goals. Kuz can score for sure, but he's more of a liability and doesn't have any desire to improve his defensive game.
Perfect for where the Flames are

Man if Lindhom gets a 7 year deal that's another (former) flames schlub in the league with a huge long contract that probably won't pan out. The only one that's worked out (and will continue to work out) is Tkachuk, the rest like johnny hockey, hubderdeau, kadri have all been awful lmao. These 7-8 year deals are garbage especially for non elite players. You're probably right though. And the scary thing is Flames supposedly offered him 9 mil a year for 8 years, thankfully he priced himself out of that one

Only Gaudreau and Tkachuk are ex Flames though. Thats like 50% success.

I think age has more to do with it. At 29, giving 7-8 years to amy player is just scary

Happy with this trade. Looks like Lindholm will stabilize Pettersson on the 2nd line and Kuzmenko looks revilatized after a change of scenery.

Also, nothing beats Kuzy smiling again. Wish him the best!
He seems goofy as f***

watch Kuzmenko shoot 28% for the rest of the year and permanently shut the PDO bros up. Go Kuzy!!
That would be great, but that kind of thing happens to one player a year. He was good tonight, only one brutal turnover followed up by a goal.
