I have watched the D live in Kitchener. Texted my brother that the Nucks had a great one. Guess that’s the flames now. I really like him.
He was the guy I really wanted to get from Vancouver. Their fans undervalue him.I went to the Penticton games this year. Brusztewitz or whatever his name is stood out to me as the best prospect in the tournament
Gonna be real interesting how this effects Noah Hanifin’s mindset. Does he now let the Flames know, he’ll be moving on, and they then put him back on the market?
If so, he can be gone over the weekend as well.
Well, if you look at the deal individually sureUm, it's by far better
Brustewicz is IMO a high end prospect.Calgary got quantity over quality.
Late 1st and a meh prospect (plus other garbage) is a good price for a premier forward at the trade deadline
Pretty sure Hanifin has said all along that he wants to be traded to a team willing to compensate a contract + contend
We don't, it's not a fit for us, like Kuz is under Tocchet. He is phenomenal in the O zone, but skating and defense are major hurdles right now. I think Kuz is the big piece, I think he can bounce back for 30G if you let him play.He was the guy I really wanted to get from Vancouver. Their fans undervalue him.
The f*** are you yapping aboutYeah, they're pretty bad at drafting. Who do they have? Hughes? EP???? Weak.
Bite your tongueVancouver deserves some success.
NopeIsn't this the type of move that shortens the window though?
Seems like rentals, without an extension typically get a late 1st and a good, but not great prospect, no? I don't think it's a "haul", but it seems pretty typical to me.People calling this a "haul" for CGY clearly don't follow the Canucks or their system. The only value CGY got here was the 1st. Which is projecting to be a very late 27-32 range pick. The rest are throw ins. This was the very definition of quantity over quality for CGY. But the optics they will spin from a PR stand point for people who don't know anything about the players. I think CGY could have done better and almost certainly would have if they'd waited.
You act like this doesnt happen every single trade deadline. He was the top rental out there5 assets for a soon to be UFA seems dumb but I guess we’ll see.

Bite it for me.Bite your tongue
Im joking. Breath and read what I was replying to.The f*** are you yapping about
Not sure I agree. The first round pick was much better in a much deeper draft. Kuzmenko is a higher cap hit to Beau. Brz and the 4th and Raty are the difference in value here. Jurmo is a nothing player.Um, it's by far better
I don’t think you can consider a guy who nearly leads his junior league in points as a dman in his D + 1 a “throw in” as flawed as he may be. I think it’s a fair deal for both teams.People calling this a "haul" for CGY clearly don't follow the Canucks or their system. The only value CGY got here was the 1st.
