Toffoli scored shorthanded assisted by Carter, no? I mean come on man, it's one of two goals we've scored all year...

Well I said at even strength. If they're counting on short handed goals to make up the difference, then they should at least take more penalties so that they can't even think about going out on another waste of time PP.

I you want to keep Kopitar, shuffle the wings. I know he's been playing decent, but Brown is such an obvious trade target here. He has a **** contract, he's no longer producing, and he plays less of an impact position. Trading Brown would also wake up pretty much everyone. If we're a good chunk of points out of the playoffs by 30 games or so, I think you look there to start. Either the team crumbles entirely after such a move, and then you trade everyone, or they right the ship.

Brown is not the problem. He busted his ass in the off season, and his effort this season has been fine.

I'm not opposed to moving him, but not to shake up the room.

True you did, but when they've only scored 2 goals in 3 games this year, why single out ES? They've been horrible enough without compartmentalizing the sucakage.

I think that people that suspected that guys like Mitchell, Williams, Stoll, Greene, and Scuderi came into the room and gave the rest of these guys a kick in the ass were right.

Man do I miss the good ole days of Mitchell, Williams and Scuderi, okay even stoll, and The warrior Greene.

Bear down. Then flush.

Minnesota's licking its chops, thinking of the meal it's gonna have on Friday.

No seriously, you'll feel better. I'll start.

Quick didn't suck as much tonight. Go!

The 5-on-3 kill.

Folks Brown is owed darn near 21 million dollars over the next three seasons, that's more than Richards was owed.

Even (Mega Rich) owners would flinch at that price. Brown is pretty much staying put.

It's amazing that we have gone from having literally the perfect defense to a dumpster fire in 3 seasons.

If that room isn't shaken up from all the stuff that happened and the players moved last season, then there's no player that could be moved that would wake them up. If they move a player it shouldn't be the try and wake up the team, it should be to make the team better.

On the plus side, Nick Shore is the real deal. Kings best Center currently.

Hope to see Forbort soon, in place of Greene or Erhoff.

How about 2 is better than 1, and they haven't earned the benefit of the doubt with the higher number?

Shorthanded goals are just so rare, you're not even really supposed to score them. Even strength is the majority of the game, and Shore has the only goal from a tip at the hash marks or wherever it was.

Time to let Weal play as well? Maybe move Lewis to wing, sit Andreoff, and see if Weal can fit in at one of the center spots.

i think the shore goal was a tip on an erhoff shot. he's great in the face-off zone, but i was kind of hoping that with pearson tonight that line would break out. instead it was kinda invisible for the most part. not doing anything super bad but nothing super good either.

of course that may just make it the best line, ha ha.:laugh:

doughty played 27 mins with no shots! top guys - boooooo!

I'll never understand how Greene got a four year contract out of Lombardi

Relatively cheap. Came in after a few injuries in the 2014 playoffs and helped the team win another Cup. One of those Lombardi type guys. Been a leader. Right handed d-man.

Complaining about Greene is a luxury. He may be an issue, but a manageable issue if the top guys are playing well.

Couldn't sell tickets, so I went.

Wish I hadn't.

One request, Toffoli: when passing the puck, please pass it to someone in black (when at home). Not the ****ing ice.

Thaniks.

You know something is up when Patty asks Jim Fox on a scale of 1-10 how concerned he is and Jim, after only a second of hesitation, says, "7.5-8."

Kopitar said his legs were tired already, not even kidding.

Kopitar "Penalties in the second are due to turn overs and tired legs, me included".

What ? your kidding me right ? I am probably taking it out of context, he probably means at the end of a shift, but holy cow.
