It's hockey and things all play together, but you look at this series and goaltending was a huge issue. Take Holtby out and just look at the goals allowed.
We allowed 8 goals by our goaltenders. 5 of them were just outright weak. Not "would have been nice to get a save" type goals or "goalies stop the majority" but routine save type goals.
Still we weren't good tonight and I'm real sick of Marner and Matthews mailing it in whenever they want a week off.

When the Leafs had a 3-2 lead, it felt like they might have escaped with 2 sort of undeserved points after a very inconsistent effort to start the game. But in this case Rittich and Skilliter teamed up to more than give it away.
Marner is so brutal. Matthews has his own issues like over holding the puck (to the point of exiting the zone on a 6 on 5 EN situation, to give you an idea of where his head is) but Marner is just bad decision after bad decision like he's getting paid $11 million to play street hockey. Total lack of professionalism.
