Most other organizations have younger prospects / depth that you can evaluate if you need a 3rd or 4th goalie. Our cupboard is so bare we need Michael Hutchinson.

If they want to fix the PP start changing out some f***ing personnel already.

Yep MM needs to go, not sure what they saw in him for designing PP's.

Stop dropping it back to Reilly everyone in this league knows you just need to skate in front of him and he will just pass it off, hes got nothing for a shot either. Find a #1 dman who can actually shoot on the pp. I dont care how Dubas or possibly another GM(please God) does it, just do it.

I mean we sure aren’t perfect, but our goalie has easily been worse than their peer in every game, by a lot. Decent tending and it’s rainbows and unicorns in here. We have the majority of the play, PP woes aside.

Not this game, man. We played well and outplayed canucks just fine. There were couple of bad goals by goalie. But if we were up 4-2 perhaps we would just defend and break plays instead of going on attack and get this game home with no events in latter part of the game. And we don’t need disservice by refs when we already tentative and have some injuries.

No that team wasn’t even close to being the same team as the current one and they weren’t even first in the conference or division when the 18 wheeler fell off. They were barely holding on to a playoff spot

Ive never been more concerned for this team's fortunes in the playoffs than I am now after this game. Goaltending is a massive issue, none of the 4 are capable of winning us any games. I guess the best we can hope for is Columbus series Andersen.

Other issues include our defence, particularly Holl. If you notice his positioning when the other team has the puck in our end, he is too high. As a result, any pucks that get through to our sieve-like goalies have a greater chance of rebounding to an opposing player or going directly in.

Rielly has no instinct for the game. Puck goes on his stick and he either refuses to shoot, makes a meaningless pass, or shoots it into the defender's shin pads.

Simmonds, Thornton, and Engvall are useless right now. Did Simmonds hit anyone tonight? This is a team that just came off Covid, a couple of hits will take their will to play away. We couldn't even do that.

Foligno I really believe will make a big difference as will Nash. We need real players who hustle, not players who are done like Thornton or Simmonds.
