Demko’s been pretty awful since returning and his stance just looks weird and awkward. I think teams should be leery until he shows he can get back to what he was

I'd take Guenther, currently. His upside is pretty large and you're going to give up too much to get Pettersson and not get enough back.

And for 4 million less a year for 8 more years after this one. His contract will look like MacKinnon's was, when it's over. The value you get out of Guenther outweighs the extra 10-20 points a season you might get out of Pettersson.

I love Pettersson's game, but Utah would be foolish to lose Guenther at this point. He's part of their core going forward for the next 8 years unless something crazy happens. He's already an almost PPG player with 30g pace and room for more.

They can make another move after to get one. Seems like there has been a lot of talk around them moving a Dman (position of strength? Especially if they acquire Andersson), soooo... how good of a C do you think you'd get for Byram or Power? Byfield? Pinto? Wright? Not that I'm suggesting 1-for-1 on any of these...
