No way BA pulls off a big move at the TDL, he takes forever to make any moves of significance, 12-24 months to trade OEL/Chych as examples, wasted 1 year before he started the rebuild. Un less he is under pressure from ownership to make the playoffs this year, then he could make a move to keep try and keep his job if he thinks it is in jeapordy if he misses the playoffs. This is his 5th year at the helm, best season was 78 points last year, this year he needs to make the playoffs or be at 90+ points, if not he might be out as GM, same for the 4th year coach too.
Bottom line, maybe a minor move for a vet if we are still in the hunt for a playoff spot unless he fears losing his job with a playoff miss. BA doesn't move quickly.

Utah says no thank you. Way too much given the drama surrounding EP, his injuries and his recent performance. Also, Simashev is not available.

So…who should Utah offer though?
Most players are in the right age or not good enough to get a star player in return.
In the off season they could target Marner and Rantanen, but if either of them signs in Utah, something has gone horribly wrong.
