Bergevin did it and even Timmins disapproved of that selection. Bergevin is now gone and I am fairly sure they won't even sign him to an ELC. That said, he's not a "sexual molester" per se, what he did was sharing intimate pictures without consent. Which is still awful and stupid.

Also, Josh Anderson has always been crap, but if you actually watched hockey you'd know he wasn't as terrible this year as he was last season.

He contributes too much to the club to risk suspension so the coaches told him to tone it down. He did and set personal records in goals.

I know. The caps are up against the cap and committed a lot of money to an aging core. The farm system is okay but nothing special.

Despite that they still make the playoffs regularly. Bruins are getting pretty old too but have a good goalie in sway man. Caps goalies are okay but inconsistent. I'll take that over Montréals disastrous season.

it's about to be fire season here. after the entirety of superior, co and surrounding louisville burned down last year (my wife's mom almost lost her house in the Marshall fire) combined with all the ongoing forest fires, we're buckling down for another craptacular year.

It's rained like twice this spring/summer. We had decent snow but it's still dry as hell.

But Bedard just scored 51 goals and recorded 100 points in 62 games, in his Draft-1 season, after missing significant development time due to COVID and personal reasons last year. All of this, despite also playing on a shit team with no supporting cast.

In his Draft-1 season, McDavid had 99 points in 56 games, with 28 goals. And he had like Connor Brown and Burakovsky to play with. Dane Fox too on the PP. These three guys alone are much better than what Bedard has had this season, since Tanner Howe is still young too.

It's no guarantee Bedard ends up better than McDavid, but the potential is here. He doesn't have the same explosiveness that makes McDavid so dangerous, but he has an insane shot with a ridiculous release for his age.

As for Michkov, guy has been posting some insanely ridiculous numbers for his age in international tournaments and the MHL
