In the US you can just record the games, I do it with Youtube TV and then wake up the next morning and watch highlights

There is a channel which shows the NHL here which I could record games from or I could get Game Centre if that's still a thing but I don't really consider it worth the money.
I don't enjoy watching sports games retrospectively because I often can't be bothered to avoid social media and when watching the game I just get bored and end up fast forwarding to the goals anyway because the main thing I'm interested in is the result.
I'm not really that fussed about watching hockey these days anymore, I mostly just follow the scores

Certainly won't be watching the Caps on a playoff run...
I have lots to do to keep me as busy as I want to be this summer. I'm sure it will fly by too quickly.
