Can someone post the current team USA roster.
Patrick Kane
Chris Kreider
Dylan Larkin
Alex DeBrincat
Johnny Gaudreau
Casey Mittelstadt
Connor Murphy

thats all we know so far...

I am shocked that DeKeyser and Bjugstad haven't heard from USA Hockey yet. They are obviously taking their time but both of these guys should have been contacted by now to play again.

Do we know if USA hockey has actually taken care of insuring Larkin yet?

I know we keep looking at him as going, but my guess is he does need USA hockey to plunk down a decent amount on insurance, with as cheap as USA hockey is at times I am not counting that as a certainty.

I hope for his and USA hockey that they do, but without it, he isn't going to go.

Gaudreau-DeBrincat*-Kane... if Schmaltz doesn't make the USA team.
- the term speed kills would get a complete new meaning :)
-> speed over kills :)

* DeBrincat can be used as a center too

dekesyer is really bad.

also gaudreau is not confirmed.

Nice start for USA. For this tournament I admit that I would be quite content to see USA win, both for the troll aspect and also to perhaps incite greater future participation.

USA Hockey has worked this out before with other RFA's who came and needed insurance, so nothing 100% confirmed, but I would be shocked if they couldn't get it taken care of for Larkin.

USA Hockey has to pony up some of that NHL money they get from time to time lol!

I certainly hope they do it, I am just saying we have now looked at him as confirmed for a few weeks it seems. Until we know that is taken care of that isn't 100% accurate is all. I would like to see the Wings extend him today anyway and just get rid of the insurance issues altogether.

well, outside of a few tweets nothing has really been confirmed by anyone within USA Hockey yet, so we are just assuming on all these names to be true. There could be a hiccup with Larkin, but with how little we have here, saying he is coming just makes the group a lot better, so be positive and let us believe he is coming hahaha..

I would go Jensen over DeKeyser in terms of the Wings D-man. But I guess that depends some on the right handed left handed balance. I think we can honestly do better than either of these two, but it is surprising with Blashill in the fold that we only have the Larkin if insurance pans out commitment off the team with a couple guys you have to think are right on the bubble for consideration.

Adbelkader is a guy that has represented USA hockey in the past. I know he is expecting his first child in September but that is a long ways off and shouldn't impact this tournament. I know he isn't popular but I am surprised he hasn't been approached.

Bjugstad should absolutely be on this team.

Abdelkader said he had to think about it. I have not heard anything after that.

Devils can save our defense.

EDIT: If you can say so

In my opinion: if a player declines an invitation to play for his national team but is healthy - he would never be invited to represent his country in the future.
Like J. Eichel for example.
