You don’t go bonkers for Dominik and his leotard?
I have hopes for that group because I am a huge mark for Finn Balor and I've liked Damien Priest since he was Punishment Martinez in ROH, but its just off. And that's not even considering Dominik.

I think the best thing they could do now with a Dom - Rey feud is have him rename himself as Dominik Guerrero. That I would pop over. Ha ha ha.

I’m not exactly sure why anyone who watched HHH’s career, anyone who has heard him talk would expect anything remotely truly creative out of the man.

I was never a fan - seemed like he was more of a mid-carder that got the rub going against guys like the Rock and Stonecold. I was there at WM 18 and no one I knew was excited for his World Champ run. Hogan's comeback put his reign on the shelf.

I don't think there's ever been another wrestler who got as lucky with his career as HHH did. He was a mediocre talent who got to where he did by being friends with top guys and marrying the bosses daughter. Now that being said, I do think he's a good booker.

How long was it after Diesel and Razor Ramon left that HHH started in on the Billion Dollar Princess? 🤔

I was there too and I remember a lot of the crowd leaving after the Hogan-Rock match to beat traffic. The ones that stayed were pretty quiet during the HHH Jericho match.

I think HHH was always main event material but I doubt he would have had so many title Reigns and main events if he wasn't with Stephanie. But Remember, he was being groomed for the main event long before being with Stephanie and after HBK left.

I also disagree with people that say he was just the guy that worked with top stars and that's the only reason he made it. You couldn't have just put anyone in that position. He was the top heel wrestler in the hottest period of WWE. Let's give him some credit.

Yeah and he's totally the only person ever in the history of wrestling to make the right friends and play the backstage politics game.
Who said he was. Certainly not me. I said no other wrestler got as lucky with their career as he did and that's true.

I can't stand this Riddle - Rollins feud. The Riddle promo is so cringe and so scripted.

"I got news for you John WWE is scripted"

Yeah but it was never this obvious. Riddle's reply to Rollins needling is just "WHERE THE f*** IS HE? WHERE IS HE? TELL ME WHERE HE IS." Wow, such heat. Awful promo.

Also I think Logan Paul is the future of WWE.

Ric Flair isn’t even a top 10 wrestler ever. He also essentially had the same match with the same spots for 30 years.

MJF is nowhere near as great as he or the Internet Wrestling Community make him out to be.

I like MJF, I actually think he's really good and find him entertaining, but he's also severely overrated. Yelling and screaming and swearing in your promos doesn't mean it's good. He's a good worker in the ring, but I've seen plenty who are better.

Yet him and his fans act like he's the only guy who can save professional wrestling and every promotion is just gonna back up the truck when his contract is up in 2024.

True, but I question how much of that was a symptom of the territory days.

I mean, as NWA champ his job was to go to the different territories to have a "title" match with their top guy. Since they were all working together as the NWA, the champ wasn't going to squash/kill the earning power of a territory's top guy so of course their guy went over had some near falls then would just barely lose at the end

I'm not sure if this is unpopular or not but it's time for Michael Cole to disappear from WWE play-by-play. Not that he can't do the job or anything like that, but with the shake-ups on Raw and SD announcing teams (and the loss of Jimmy Smith who I thought was excellent) I think it's time to move on from Cole. His announcing is just beyond stale at this point. We've been listening to him do PBP on a fairly regular basis now for almost a quarter century. I've heard enough of Michael Cole's voice for one lifetime.

I don't think it's unpopular. Cole was never good.

I don't think I've heard any of hhh's peers refer to him as one of the goats, so I don't think your opinion is so unpopular at least in the wrestling world.

But then I hear someone like bret call him a 4/10, and I think that's just a bit much. He was better than that, and he could tell a good story.

I always thought of hhh as a very solid and capable performer.... Not as bad mediocre as bret says he is.
