Speaking of Hangman is he hurt or just not being used with the PPV coming up? Last thing I remember him doing was losing to I think Mox in the tournament for the new title.
he got knocked out by a moxley lariat three weeks ago, leading to a referee stoppage

possibly just playing safe with him, or possibly he is having some concussion symptoms lingering

i haven’t heard any update but also haven’t been looking

Shawn Michaels is the most overrated superstar of all time. He’s an annoying obnoxious promo and he comes across as a girly man. His high flying move set comes across as phony and unrealistic and he’s not believable as a tough champion at all. He was also a piece of garbage as a human being. I wish Bret Hart would have knocked him out cold in the 90’s. I could never understand how people could like him.

as a little kid i thought the rockers were cool

the older i got the less cool i thought michaels was

I've never understood what was so great about Dusty Rhodes.
Most of the stuff we have readily available of NWA Dusty Rhodes is from a period when he was sort of a John Cena who the crowd had largely turned on, but since Rhodes was executive producer they edited around it or put him in situations where they could control reactions. He's still an all time great promo and alright in the ring given his surprising agility. I'd personally like to see more of funky Dusty from the 70s given that I've seen plenty of cowboy Dusty from the 80s.

Agreed. Theres a reason most of the locker room couldn't stand him during that 94-98 stretch. Especially once it was just HHH and him left. When Diesel/Razor left he lost his only other friends.

Not to mention he was an absolute (fill in the blank) to The Rock when he was a rookie. Thank God Hart took him under his wing and HBK retired otherwise who knows what would've happened.

I'm not a New Day fan... at all. Never have been.

Now, I'll admit I missed a lot of their "top" material, but from its inception to now this faction has never remotely appealed to me. I find their antics generally annoying and lame. Some have compared this faction to D-Generation X, no? I don't see any similarities whatsoever. I also wouldn't put Kingston and Woods on a list of my Ten Greatest Tag Teams of All Time.

Yeah, I like the New Day in ring but their shtick has grown tired for like 4-5 years with me. I just hated how they'd act like dorks around Imperium. That's a group you shouldn't be making fun of.

They just do things that don't sit well with me. I remember when RAW was Monday and SD was Tuesday, Kofi got absolutely beat down the night before and came out the next night skipping down to the ring and basically no-selling everything. There's a time and place for the comedic shit.

Big E is the best part of that group by a country mile.

While myself personally have never been a fan nor entertained by their gimmick (which to me is aimed at a younger audience), I do respect all 3 members as quality performers and based on their tag team accomplishments they are one of the best teams of their generation. I don't consider them a faction the same way I don't consider the Freebirds a faction. Those are 3-man teams. A true faction to me needs at least 4 members.

I love ECW grew up on it and still watch it. But I am tired of ECW reunion shows. Also think alot of them need to hang it up. Sandman almost 60. Same with Shane Douglas.
ECW was some of the best wrestling in history. Amazing shows.

That said...I totally agree. WWE, and at times AEW, trying to bring back wrestlers from the 90's for active roles is awful. Move on.

I’ve said this before, but to me the booking and angles ages much, much better from SMW than from ECW of the smaller mid 90s promotions.

The match quality is better too on a whole. ECW had a lot more "moments" with high spots and things of that nature, but they also had so much awful garbage wrestling that it felt like you had to wait hours for a good match or moment. Lots of highs and lows. People remember the highs and have forgotten (or ignore) the lows.

I don’t think I ever hated nxt2.0. I also think people like jdfromny206 kinda overrate the black and gold. I’m not even saying i prefer 2.0 to black and gold. I’m just saying one isn’t as good as people say and one isn’t nearly as bad.

That's an awful take.

I tried to give 2.0 a shot for almost a full year, but for the last month or so it just eats a whole in my DVR. It's just...not good and became a chore to watch.

Carmelo Hayes is good and maybe Jordan Devlin but that's it.

Toxic Attraction was good at first but got old fast and now Mandy isn't even their anymore.
