In regards to Moxley's story about Brock not wanting to do his plan in the 2016 match. Brock has proven he understands wrestling storytelling more than Mox who's in ring style is the equivalent of cheap pop/cheap heat. The match wasn't that good but nobody thought he was a physical threat to Brock so it was a hard one to book and making it a 25 minute match where Brock pulverizes him would have affected the flow of the rest of the Wrestlemania when Undertaker vs Shane and HHH vs Reigns were 25-30 minutes.

Rollins is one of the worst promos to be a multi champion main event guy. He is clearly worse at it than even people like Reigns and McIntyre. They have to go way over the top making him evil and injuring people because he can't just make people hate him with a few arrogant words like other heels.

Brock has every single match laid out for him, it’s just a matter of who he likes and doesn’t like enough to make look good, and he didn’t like Moxley, and that’s really the long and short of it. Got nothing to do with him understanding storytelling.

Vince Mcmahon is innocent
All he did was cheat on his wife with willing participants
Well, it is a little more complicated than that:

1- He was in a position of power and allegedly used his position to get sexual favors from women TALENT. One talent was even let go after refusing to continue to do sexual favors for him.

2- He used company money to pay hush money and did not report it. He will or did already repay it, so he might be okay on that front.

3- It is not one affair, it is a series of events including, as mentioned before, using his power to get sex from employees. It is a pattern of bad behavior.

What he did might not be criminal, but judging from the information we have, he is at best an immoral piece of shit.

I don't think it's fair to call Charlotte selfish. She is booked the way she is booked. Unless there is good information she has repeatedly pulled a Hogan on people I don't think it's fair to blame booking decisions you don't like on her.

Maybe not unpopular but dont think Luger should be in HOF
In terms of star power, he should get in.

He was shit in the ring for most of my time as a fan. But I have heard he was pretty good in the late 80s/early 90s. But that is a bit before my time of viewing WCW.

Side note - can a Canadian tell me - did we get WCW on TV in the early 90s. I know we could order the PPVs but I don't remember WCW on TV until Saturday Night in like 1994.

I'll start.

I miss when PPV's used to have different and unique times when they took place and what day- Royal Rumble used to be an afternoon show, heck it was actually on Saturday 3 times (1991-1992-1994), WrestleMania had an afternoon start times from 1985-1994, SummerSlam was on Monday nights (1988-1994), and Survivor Series was on Thanksgiving Night/Eve. long before these events were beholden to Sunday and 6-7 PM starts.
I was at Wrestlemania March 31, 1985. Where it all began at the Worlds Most Famous Arena .
5 rows back from the ring . What a freakin blast . May be the best anything I ever attended . I still see myself in some videos with my long hair and Jethro Tull shirt . As I always say “ ah the 80s”

RIP Olivia Newton - John

I don't blame Lesnar at all for not wanting to do what Moley wanted to do. He's a mess, and he's gotten much messier in the ring since going to AEW and presumably being given more control. Lesnar has shown that he can and will make other guys look great.

I don't think that Luger was ever particularly good in the ring, not that it matters for the WWE hall of fame. As far as WCW, it was definitely on TBS in Canada in the early 90s, prior to 1994. I remember 1992 WCW and the build to the White Castle of Fear on Saturday mornings, for instance.

I saw Starrcade 1991 and the WCW/NJPW show in like 1992-1993. Those were my first WCW shows. Didn't watch again until Nitro started. Not sure how I missed on those years which is why I posed the question.

Speaking of Starrcade 91, the Battle Bowl concept is amazing and I always wished WWE would bring it back.

After looking into it a little but, it looks like TBS came to Canada in 1985 and all TBS broadcasts were the same as they were in Atlanta, so I'd guess that WCW was always available in Canada to anyone who had TBS unless I'm misunderstanding things.

I definitely watched a lot of WCW on tv as a kid starting around 89/90. I remember it was on Saturday mornings at times and on weeknights at other times. I loved it every bit as much as I did WWF.

One of the things that made 80's wrestling great....Each week, prior to the next PPV, Mean Gene (then eventually Sean Mooney) would come on and spend 10 minutes hyping the card and reviewing the latest news from that feud. It was awesome. Really hyped me up for the event and highlighted why that match was huge. I'd love for that to return, especially if we have to have 5 hours of weekly programming. Plenty of time to hype up events.

I was never a fan of Cena or Batista.

Actually, the "Ruthless Aggression" era is probably my least favorite in WWE.

Also, in regards to Natalya. For some reason whenever I see her in the ring for untelevised things, or things like the Mixed Match Challenge, or other lighter fare, she shows she has decent ability. I've seen her pull off great moves and sequences using decent psychology in b-roll footage for training purposes. Then whenever I see her on TV and in a program, she is downright sloppy and bad. There are two Natalyas.

I've always thought Natalya is one of the better in ring workers in the division. She's just boring and annoying.

In ring, she is pretty good. I just dislike her mannerisms and character. I feel the same way about Charlotte.

Another thing - I used to watch Total Divas a lot and that made me dislike Natalya even more.

The first few years of the Ruthless Aggression era were pretty good. I think I stopped watching regularly sometime shortly after Mania 21 and was only casually following or not watching at all the rest of that era. Picked back up again in like mid-late 2010 when they were in the PG Era.

In hindsight, the 2002-2005 era was pretty entertaining at least. A lot of people shit on it back then, probably because they were comparing it to the attitude era that had just ended. Myself included and probably because I was a cynical teenager at the time. It was so much better than anything they've done since.

They may not have executed the storylines perfectly and they may misused a lot of guys back then. But the roster was deep and there was always a reason to watch. I think WWE has sucked since about 2006 (although I still watch every now and then) except I did really like the time from mid 2013 to about mid 2016.

In another thread, I said 1995 was such a bad year for WWE. But 2020 to today is worse.

Speaking of Natalya…

I think it’s weird her and her sister putting out pics together in bikinis and oiling their tits up and pressing em all together next to one another.
