GOJHL regular season finishes up on Sunday. here are some prospects stats from the 2024 class + signed players.

Valentini 31 points in 46 games

Cameron 36 points in 38 games

Gaitens 17 points in 46 games

Xu 24 points in 51 games

Bray 19 points in 43 games

Anstis 11 points in 25 games

Carriere 14-4 (u18)

Young 19 points in 31 games (u18)

Hextall 30 points in 44 games

Orr 51 points in 55 games (prep)

Roberson 9 points 89 PIM in 30 games

Schneider 1 point in 17 games

Edwards 2-19-2 4.31 GAA 0.888 SV%

Maki 5-10-2 0.879 SV %

Giordano 25 points in 44 games

* after Sunday Edwards can join the team full time

Me too. But how was he used? I believe Cameron was given top six minutes. Was Anstis as well?

Often JrB teams go with vets over underagers, especially if they’re contending. Listowel is a contender flush with veterans. Without knowledge of what is going on in Listowel, and merely looking at the stats, I’m thinking Anstis has a tough time getting top six or maybe even top nine minutes, let alone PP time.

As the 12th leading scorer among forwards, having played around half as many games, his totals might be considered impressive when all is factored in.

Guelph with a bee in their bonnet today. This is how the rivalry used to be. Only thing that could make it better is the Storm being relevant in the league.

I don’t mind our play by play guy when play is going on. He’s very good on the call. But it’s when the play stops, these guys often leave a lot to be desired.

It's just when they keep talking while the play is on that bugs me. Other than that a agree the play by play guy is decent. They do talk up the opponents skills also.
 
Officials must be on a mouth guard blitz. Windsor player called for it on Friday, and checking scores I see 4 different misconducts for mouth guard violations from the Knights in their game this afternoon. Surely others have been getting burned as well.

In Kitchener, we call it the "Pinelli Violation".

Watching the game at home on Friday, Abraham was the first intermission interview by Sean Furfaro, when asked about it, he was pretty pissed, called it a "soft" call.

Oh I remember Geo, Jeremy Bracco was even worse for hanging it out of his mouth

Yeah, I remember Bracco. But Pinelli was the only one I can remember to get a penalty for it. And I think it was twice in one game or maybe back to back games. It seemed like the refs were trying to make an example out of him.

The Rangers are pretty much locked in to the 3 seed with London only needing 2 more points to clinch the division. This means that the Rangers will more than likely play Flint in the first round as Flint are 7 points up on Sarnia and 7 points behind Erie with roughly 6 games to go. I think Flint will be a good challenge in the first round and have played the Rangers well this year but if this team wants to go far then they need to be rested an beat Flint in 5 or fewer games in my opinion.

There was a little cavity in the mouth guard that held some booger sugar for a mid game pick-me-up.

Looks like both teams are in contention they are within six points in the standings that is the difference of 3 wins they are getting top six minutes that is the purpose of going there to develop in all situations .

Just questioning whether or not Anstis was getting top six minutes or not. I believe Cameron is.

It wouldn’t be the first time we’ve sent prospects to JrB over the years to find they don’t get the minutes we expect them to get.

played majority of the games as LW2 with some center sprinkled in. was on the powerplay for a while but got bumped down to the second unit. struggled to find consistency that could play in part to missing the first half the year and learning the junior game when players are in full swing. finished the year strong with 5 points in 5 games. he looked pretty strong in the games I've seen with his linemates sometime looking a step behind and or not seeing/thinking the game at the same level as him.
