Hogan really had one last run near the top of the WWE as a full-time performer when he return in early 2002. He lost the match against Brock on SD shortly before SS that year and was off TV until early 2003. He never really regained that momentum he had in 2002 and was never a full-time performer again after Brock defeated him.

He comes back does his angle with Hollywood Rock and then Vince into the Mr. America stuff and he's gone again. Then does the one-offs a few years later against HBK and Orton.

But to me, that run that started in 1984 ended the summer of 2002.

Oh right I forgot about that match. It was a cool moment when Lesnar wiped Hogan's blood on his chest.

My favourite Lesnar/Hogan moment was “Party is over, Grandpa!”

It was the best, and so accurate.
I remember hoping he'd destroy all those legends but I'm not sure if any of them could have taken his offense.

Without looking it up, there was Hogan, Piper, Orndorff, Nash, and Hall.

It was dumb for WWE to bring back a watered down ECW on scifi. Should have put it on another channel and kept most the original ECW guys there who werent in major programs.

Ran it as a smaller development territory

They should have put the belt on Mark Henry after the fake retirement promo
True, off the top of my head that's the best out of nowhere great segment I can think of. The list of guys who WWE should have had Cena lose to is pretty massive.

This isn’t anything I know to be unpopular. But how about:

Take ROH Pure rules and make them universal. Call it the “Dayjob Rule”. Let them sell the strikes and maneuvers to the bodies more. Those forearm to the neck ones can stay.

I just hate fake punching so much.

Biker Taker is the best Taker. I always found the deadman character from 2004 until he retired boring. He should have just kept his biker gimmick.

His best in-ring work was as the American Badass. People complain about it too much, in addition to overrating the dead man gimmick.

I don't know how unpopular this is, but Batista is the best wrestler turned actor. Better than The Rock and Cena. Better at actually acting I mean, not most successful of course.

Rikishi was the best "big man" ever.

I always found him to be insanely athletic. Guy superfly splashed off the cage, his super kicks were spectacular, he'd turn himself inside out on clotheslines.

This unpopular opinion makes me hate you so much.

Rikishi was decent for his size. But he was nowhere near the tier of guys like Vader and Bigelow.

He was every bit as good as those guys.

That’s not a knock on Vader or Bam Bam either. Rikishi was much, much more agile than either of them. Sold much better, too.

Sheppy, my opinions usually match yours. But I can never forgive you for this.

Rikishi could never do a 20 minute main event match
