From watching old videos on YouTube, I think Bret Hart’s WCW run was retroactively kinda enjoyable. I feel like you can tell he knows the place is a total shitshow, and in don’t give a f*** mode, and he’s kinda funny at it.

It's definitely better than people give it credit for. His booking is terrible but he cuts some solid promos, shows a comedic side for the first time ever, and has some good matches. People paint it as terrible and it really isn't.

Yeah man, this is exactly what I think it looks like. He’s his best ever on the mic in his wcw run(in my opinion- I just believe he wasn’t ever himself on wwf tv cause of their obsession with scripted promos but I could be wrong) and he’s himself in the ring. People are too serious about this shit. Man went and got paid and put out good tv. Not his fault his booking wasn’t the best.

The El Dandy promos are of course gold:

The match with Benoit is rightly praised, and there are a few other good ones out there. The talent didn't just evaporate suddenly, other than when Goldberg kicked him in the face.

I may be in the minority but the real money would of been Brock Lesnar shaking Roman's hand then unbuttoning his shirt/vest thingy to reveal a Bloodline t-shirt and joining The Bloodline 2-man power trip style. He can always turn on Roman and Heyman again down the road.

To me that would of been a much more interesting story than heel Roman vs. face Brock for the belt(s) again. They got 6 weeks to build up that match and like what part of that story is left to tell?

I been watching some 80s WWF house shows on youtube and one thing that stands out to me is how amazing Iron Mike Sharpe is in his role of a top level "jobber". The way he works the crowd and makes his opponents look like a million dollars is a lost art.

Mike truly was Canada's greatest athlete in the 80s(sorry Wayne)

Austin Theory is just another Tyler Breeze the only difference is he has a phone and Breeze had a selfie stick

Nyla Rose is the best big women division wrestler of all time. Better than Awesome Kong, Chyna and Beth Phoenix.

Those 3 are no doubt very good and powerful. But Chyna was very wooden when she wrestled. Beth Phoenix was great techinically but I think Nyla's better due to her top rope athleticism. Kong in her prime is a close 2nd.
