Anyone know why Saturday's game against Dal is a 4pm start? Original I thought it was for the teddy bear toss but that's on Dec 3rd.

They've had afternoon games on Sunday before but I don't recall having them on a Saturday.

I thought they had a Saturday afternoon game in 2019-20 as a trial run to see what the crowd would be like. I think the thought process was a lot of people have plans Saturday nights. I remember it being nice to go to the game and having a free Saturday night.

I must admit…I was never overly impressed with Carroll his first couple years (obviously he didn’t get a ton of playing time), but he has been very good so far this year so credit where credit is due. I find he reminds me a bit of Matt Murphy with his skating and ability to pick his spots and rush the puck up the ice and drive the net.

Carroll and McEwan have got to be the happiest surprises amongst returning players.
I was worried about the d-core coming into the year , but the top 6 is damn solid , I said it on an earlier post but I think people sleep on Landry , he’s gonna be a huge part of the back end moving forward.

I wonder if there is any chance Outhouse will be available for Friday? No disrespect to Somers but he wasn’t really tested this past weekend. It will be different against X

I heard that it doesn’t appear to be a major injury….but whether that means he plays this weekend I don’t know.

UNB has done a very good job in recent years at limiting the shots against St. FX…plus they will be missing one of their most dangerous forwards in Philip. I would like one of the top 2 in net obviously, but I think they could still win with Somers.

EDIT - typo

Good to see one of the two starting goaltenders (Parenteau) back. Apparently Outhouse is skating with the team so hopefully he isn't too far behind.

Rassell looked completely healthy out there.

I saw that…think it had him as having a SOG…I haven’t watched the entire game so maybe he left for some reason.
I don’t think he has played in the last 2 periods , pretty sure I remember him playing a shift or two in the first.
The site also says Outhouse won the opening face off so who knows

Boland took a knock in the first period. They took him out of the game just to be cautious.
