I thought the Keating-Pinard-Petizian line looked good although they didn't do a lot point-wise. I hardly noticed Morgan and he gets 6 points. I've said this before but it bears repeating - Ross MacDougall is a very solid defenseman.
MacDougall and Landry are both underrated . I’ve been a huge fan of Landry since day one and I would probably take them if I only could pick 2 UNB d-men for my team.

I really liked what I saw from Petizian in the game here against UdeM. He was very noticeable out there IMO.

With tomorrow’s game against Acadia being canceled, that opens up the possibility of another exhibition game. Wonder if they explore something over Christmas now?
Might get a team travelling down here for some games now over Christmas...remember when the Polish National team was here a few years back? That would be fun too!

Good game yesterday against a solid McGill squad in the Pete Kelly...high tempo all the way. Richard was really solid too yesterday in goal. That was a nice test for UNB. Still missing Gaucher guessing they will have him for the TMU games this weekend. They are still polishing things but looks like a a great squad and a great recruiting year for the REDS. Looking forward to opening night on October 7th!

As a fan it would be nice to see a team from the OUA come down. However, I would also be fine with allowing the players the time off.

I wonder if the reason they didn’t have a game scheduled over the break is due in part to the World Juniors/FISU? Maybe we see an AUS all-star game like we did a number of years ago?

Speaking of FISU…is it going to be made up of all AUS players (I think it might be their turn)….or is it going to be a true U Sports all-star team?

Yes - but it's still 2-way, he could be in the coast for the entire term (we might see him come at Christmas).
He turned 21 in March. Does the age thing come into play here? The rules are too legalistic for me to interpret. I get the Jan 10 part.

Edit: I read it again and understand that he can play up to Jan 10 if he turns 21 before Dec 31???

If it was just a 1 year deal I would think the chances of him returning would be much higher….can’t see it with a 2 year contract. Would love to be proven wrong though.

If Sommers starts again tonight we will know for sure that Richard is hurt as well.
According to the Gleaner, Richard is ill….so hopefully nothing too serious.

0/10 on the power play is almost impossible to believe….almost 8 years to the day since the last time they were shutout…worst start to a season since beginning 0-2 in Gardiner’s first season.

Too lazy to look to see the last time they lost consecutive games by at least three goals.

Any word on the "transportation issues"? Could that game be a forfeiture?
No. The bus broke down on the way to Acadia.
Thankfully the bus was able to get to a large store parking lot (I don't want to say the name).
It was 3-4 hours for a replacement. The players were able to play soccer while they waited.
Came directly to Halifax.
This weekend being Acadia Homecoming, there was no possibility of playing the game today (Sunday). That makes sense to me. Lots of family in town, so not fair to the ACA players. They will reschedule, same as the SMU-SFX game.
