I think Richard could be #1 even though typically the senior guy in goal is the guy at the end of year. He's really good. Griffen is solid though too. Tanner is an exceptional #3 - he could be top 2 most other places in the country, he is a great goalie - we are lucky to have such a great group!Goalies
Griffen Outhouse
Samuel Richard
Tanner Somers (#3)
Forwards (13)
Macauley Carson, Thomas Casey, Brady Gilmour,
Austen Keating, Isaac Nurse, Ryan Roth
Jason Willms, Camaryn Baber, Ben Corbeil,
Cole MacKay, Cody Morgan, Mike Petizian
& Simon Pinard
Defenseman (7)
Noah Carroll, Connor Hall,
Kade Landry, Ross MacDougall,
Adam McCormick & Chris McQuaid
& Justin Nolet (Colton Kammerer likely out until Christmas or the year)
Total = 20 (not including Kammerer)
Game-day roster = 18 + 2 goalies (so two players will have to sit)
AUS Limit = 24 (so they have spots for Christmas if they want)
Captain? Austen, Brady or Connor?
I liked MacDougall a lot when he played at Acadia. I agree, very underrated.I think Richard could be #1 even though typically the senior guy in goal is the guy at the end of year. He's really good. I am excited to see the new crop and who emerges. If they all come close to delivering what they look like they can, it will be another strong season. A couple of pure goal scorers emerging is not going to hurt. Hoping for a strong PP this season.
I like the D - Ross MacDougall is so under rated. McQuaid is likely a black ace. Casey has to be much better this season. Three great choices as potential Captains. I see Ross as a possible C as well. I think this could be his final year. Keats to me is a front runner though.
Is it opening night yet?!
There are practices on the AUC ice schedule today and Wed-Fri for Men's hockey. Seems to me it is right around September 1 from what I recall...one of these is the official first practice I'd say...first pre-season game 09/16. Let's Go!!!!When’s the first day they can officially practice?
1st day of classes. Wednesday, Sept. 7.When’s the first day they can officially practice?
Well that's a change for this year. To be honest, that might have been the case the last couple of years. It USED to be the first day of classes. It's Friday Sept 2, 2022 according to the ops manual

Always back by end of pre-season I think...good on him!Looks like Pinard is heading to Vancouver’s rookie camp…so I’m guessing we won’t see him on Friday.
Attending Philly rookie camp according to the UNB recruit announcement. No Gaucher tonight…is he away at camp too?
Pinard played last weekend in the prospects tournament. That may be all for him.Appears Gaucher will be attending Philadelphia’s main camp this week…but don’t see Pinard listed on Vancouver’s roster.
Or perhaps DAL defense is not up to par. I saw the game tonight and UNB looked pretty good. DAL did not.11-4 in the 3rd…yeah, the offense might be a little better this year.
