Seriously, you'd think a player who cries and quits on his own team would be deemed ineligible for this award.

Seguin not getting nominated is no big deal to me.
St. Louis getting nominated is an absolute joke. If I was Marleau or O'Reilly ... I'd be insulted. Selanne is also an obvious choice for this award. Maybe even more so than Tyler ... no question more deserving than a quitter like St. Louis.

I'm with G on this one. Don't care that Seguin wasn't a finalist. That seemed pretty unlikely anyway but St. Louis is an embarrassment. He quit on his teammates in Tampa because of a ridiculous supposed slight by his GM, even though he got to play for Team Canada regardless. Then he comes back demands a trade, says I'll only go to NY and screws Tampa again? Sportmanslike is the last thing St. Louis was with this. I seriously hope someone on Tampa's team next year puts an epic beatdown on him whenever they play next. I've lost all respect for a guy whose play for years deserved every accolade ever thrown his way. Sad.

Might've been that one 10 min penalty he got late in the season and also his "reputation" from Boston media. He will get a chance to win it later tho!

The Boston debacle should have helped his sportsmanship cause because all he did was focus despite the distractions and play excellent hockey all season.
Would have been nice to win the Eriksson trade... oh well.

He's been noticeable every single game. Game 1 was probably his best.
He just seems to be fighting it when it comes to shooting it right now though. Could easily have 2 or 3 more goals.
That's somewhat how he was last year in the playoffs for us. Always seemed this close to breaking through and scoring, still always hustling. Hopefully he finds his touch. Rooting for you guys and the Sharks in the West. (Wouldn't mind Jumbo Joe getting the cup, assuming Bruins are knocked out.)
