There is no reason why Kleven won’t get walked by AHL forwards next year. The kid is tantalizing but he is not up for awards like Owen Power. He isn’t even on any too defenceman lists for NCAA hockey. We love our prospects but let’s pump the brakes
Yeah
Gotta temper the expectations
Marner busting out the left side trying to go around will be different from a NCAA player

I am done pumping brakes. I am now driving with no brakes and not even holding the handlebars. What's the worst that can happeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee....

I hope he impresses us tonight vs Philly , first time watching this kid, so I will be cheering for him the entire game no matter the result :)

If Kleven becomes a bottom pairing defenseman in 2 years, who becomes a defensive #4 in his prime, that would be great for the Sens! I'm not saying he will, but I think that's his upside if everything goes well. He could just as easily become a low upside JBD type that makes less mistakes.
And on the subject of other D prospects, I want to see JBD, Thomson and Guennette get some more NHL games this season with both Chychrun and Chabot being injured.

Would seem like a good enough time to give those players some NHL ice time.

Speaking of Chabot, does anybody have some more info? I'd just like to see what's was said about his injury. Thanks.
