I'm thinking that Hall and Foligno may be out for quite a while. This was the right move in an 'all in' year.

But at this point next year (or in June) when somebody on here rips Sweeney for trading all his picks, let me be the first to tell you to SHUTUP!
foligno looked done to me.
reminded me of the sturm injury in game 1 of 2010 playoffs against flyers.

DS continues to bring in players that I used to refer to as anatomical parts. This is a good thing.

The toughness meter on this team is insane. Bs were already hated enough. The big bad Bs are back and will be off the charts on the hate meter. Love it!

So maybe they plan on shipping out Reilly? I sure hope that's the case because I don't want Foligno or Hall out long term.

You still need to add a Zboril on top of that. 1.85 million of Reilly doesn't get you to 2.4. And they do really need to have some cap space for the potential call ups from Providence for March/April

BOSTON – Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced today, March 2, that the team has acquired forward Tyler Bertuzzi from the Detroit Red Wings in exchange for a 2024 first-round draft pick (top-10 protected) and a 2025 fourth-round draft pick. Detroit will retain 50 percent of Bertuzzi’s salary.

Bertuzzi, 28, has appeared in 29 games with Detroit in 2022-23, recording four goals and 10 assists for 14 points. The 6-foot-1, 197-pound forward has played 305 career NHL games, all with Detroit, totaling 88 goals and 114 assists for 202 points. The Sudbury, Ontario native was originally selected by Detroit in the second round (58th overall) of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.
