Finished with 10 pts and +/- -4 in 7 games.

He was definitely one of the Bruins' best forwards in the series, but I never thought he would be worse than Pastrnak in his own zone. If he decides to re-sign, maybe you could shelter him on Pastrnak's line by giving them the majority of offensive starts.

Out of all trade deadline additions, I think he should be the one the Bruins try to keep. Other teams will definitely be interested in him though.

Quickly became one of my favorite players. A true bruin from the moment he put on the jersey. Had some defensive mistakes, but if the entire team had 1/4 of the heart and passion this guy plays with the bruins would be in the 2nd round.

I can live with mistakes if you play like bertuzzi. I can’t live with the lifeless play some other players had.

If he’s gone at the end of the year I will be truly disappointed. Bertuzzi is an attitude/play style this team so desperately needs. So I hope he is back.

If not it was a joy watching him!

I think its 50 50 he comesback
He could seek for max money which the Bruins likely won't be able to afford

Not sure you're going to see too many huge deals this offseason, and a lot of teams with space are bad (ARZ, CHI) but a return to DET for him makes a lot of sense. They have space, and are looking to make the leap.

Honestly though, I think they make it work here. He's too good of a fit with Pastrnak.

Count me in with the general consensus. His D-zone play was surprisingly bad (maybe with more time in the system, he can improve). But pluses outweigh the minuses. His mix of toughness and skill revived the PP. It would be great to keep him.

Most of the team was a minus this series Bergeron,Marchand so not sure I would put to much into it what was he his regular season games with the Bruins.

Had a great playoffs. Would like to keep him but see no reason why he would stick around on a team that just had its best shot and came up well short and is likely headed for a downward slope next year. He'll go and get good value elsewhere, might well even return straight back to Detroit.

I'll overpay him and shed a lot of others to do it (including Linus).

Linus to the Oilers (5M)
Gryz to the Sens (3.6M)
Forbort to anywhere (3M)
Orlov, Foligno, Hathaway, Cliffy walk
Bergeron, Krejci Retire
Nosek resigned, Swayman resigned (5M)

Gotta think they need to take back at least 7M in salary in those trades, so maybe clean 5M off the books. That's the 5M to sign Nosek and Swayman.

Freddy I don't fully have a sense. Cap will decide this one. Maybe if they can finally trade Reilly's money.

So one more regular has to be traded in the top bunch to be able to fill out the whole roster and sign Bertuzzi. Someone of Hall/Debrusk/Marchand/Hampus. Tough choice. But if you believe Debrusk has officially priced himself out of Boston on the next deal, it's definitely him.

Then you've got money for Bertuzzi. You still have too many LW for my tastes, and that showed up in the playoffs. We kept trying to find a way to get one more minutes and failed.

It's actually possible Hall may want to go win a cup in Colorado or something. He may actually ask for it.

Yep, I want 59 back for sure.

Sure, he’s not Bergeron in his own end, but I’ll happily take the good with the bad. He was an absolute tank this series, a net front presence that has been missed for a very long time.

He’s the player I want back over anyone tbh. Hope there is a plan to get it done or a verbal agreement to give us a chance to move some money out and give a proper offer. Was going to finally buy an away McAvoy jersey but am waiting now to see if they sign Bert.

I hope he comes back. He's been through quite a ride the last few months so I'm glad he's taking some time to make a decision.
Same, in my opinion he should be managements number one priority. His effort and heart was second to none every time he stepped on the ice. He just plays how I view bruins hockey should be. Even if he makes some ugly passes to McAvoy sometimes lol I’ll take those ugly moments for the effort he brings

If Bert is willing to come back, I would think its got to be Hall that goes out the door to make the numbers work. I like Hall but we need more of the feistiness and energy that Bert brings. Hall seems like the consummate pro and a great guy but we have too much of that on this team.
