Bertuzzi is finally making his playoff debut tonight almost ten years after being drafted by the Red Wings! He has playoff experience with lengthy runs in the AHL and OHL, looking to forward to see what can do in his first taste of NHL playoff action.

Bertuzzi was the driving force when GR made their run in the Calder Cup. The kid excels in the playoffs. He will be the best trade deadline pick up of any team. The kid is starting to find his groove.

Thanks for the draft picks.

Wonder if they can keep both goalies and still sign Bertuzzi. I'm thinking probably not.

I sure want him back.

Orlov has slowed down since his start...obviously I'd love to keep him but Bert is my priority, then GH and if you can afford him Orlov can stay.
I don’t bring back Orlov. He’s been great but he’s 32 and probably looking for a long term deal. He’s not the fastest guy to begin with so what’s he going to be like 2-3 years from now?

Bertuzzi is the priority.

My only concern with Bertuzzi is his health. He's had 2 hand injuries this season and a few seasons ago he missed almost 50 games due to a back injury. Sprinkle in some smaller injuries and there's some concern. When healthy though he's a 60pt guy and only 28yrs old, so he's still go some good years in front of him. To keep him though I wonder if it becomes a who would you rather have, Bertuzzi or Hall situation. I can't see how you can keep both since Bertuzzi is like looking for $5.5-$6 million.

I want to agree, but every time I play this game with say Carlo, I regret it. Imagine not having Carlo right now? The guy who would ALWAYS get hurt.

I want guys who play the right way. Carlo and Bertuzzi are those guys. I'm ok if playing the right way gets them hurt. Just don't overpay them on their late career contracts.
