I think The Fall of The House of Usher was so good. But I love all of Flanagan’s stuff and I love Poe as well.

I just started Usher yesterday.....Wasn't impressed at first, but by ep 3 I wanted more....especially intrigued by how the episodes
are separate yet linked.

Very good flick. Definitely unexpectedly serious for a Giamatti film.

Watched eps 4 and 5 of Monarch. It's a slog. It's a wild goose chase that feels small in scale and hasn't gotten very far through 5 episodes. The series also makes Monarch seem like a very small and ragtag outfit while in the G films it had scope and extralegal authority. The three main characters lack charisma and I'm ending up watching it for Kurt Russell mostly.

I just rebinged Reacher....forgot how enjoyable it was. Alan Ritchson was bred to play Reacher.

Ritchson was in another show I liked a lot -- Titans (the superhero show). I totally disliked him in that.

Very one note, but does it very well.

Knew he was going to be special after Blue Mountain State which if you don't remember was a very sophomoric almost R-rated comedy about a fictional college football team from 2010-11 (went three seasons).

One of those shows that a friend recommended. If you're into the humor like I described above of the Happy Madison type films that Sandler's crew did without him, it might be up your ally. Otherwise probably not.
